Summary of plot;
It was one hundred degrees, as we sat beneath a willow tree,
Who's tears didn't care, they just hung in the air, and refused to fall, to fall.
The city of York, England had never been famed for anything. Among the city streets it was always curiously quiet, broken now and then by the pitter patter of persistent footsteps or the laugh of a child.
And I knew I'd made horrible call,
And now the state line felt like the Berlin wall,
And there was no doubt about which side I was on.
Although most citizens were content with this comfortable lifestyle, there was one man who wanted glamor. He had an idea to build a boarding school where all could afford to come. Some called him crazy, but he was determined to fulfill his dream.
Cause I built you a home in my heart,
With rotten wood, it decayed from the start.
Soon the school was built, and the citizens looked up at it in awe, for they had never seen such a beautiful thing in all their lives. But it wasn't long before the students who would be attended the great new school arrived, and their loud voices rang down the quiet streets, disrupting all.
'Cause at night the sun in retreat,
Made the skyline look like crooked teeth,
In the mouth of a man who was devouring, us both.
The teenagers that had been born in York were furious. They wanted their old, quiet city back, for it had seemed to be taken over by these new arrivals. They formed an alliance, and called themselves the Judes, intent on getting rid of the annoyance that so persisted them. But the new arrival teenagers were not about to be beat so easily, and they, too, came together, dubbing themselves the Emilies.
I'm a war, of head versus heart,
And it's always this way.
My head is weak, my heart always speaks,
Before I know what it will say.
But although tension runs high between the two groups, some of the more daring teenagers refuse to be ripped away from their friends by, as they see it, a silly little feud. They continue to see their Emilies or Judes friends, though they are forced to do it in private, or face the wrath of the devoted leaders. Despite the danger they presist, for friendship doesn't seem to mind crossing lines.
And you can't find nothing at all,
If there was nothing there all along.
No you can't find nothing at all,
If there was nothing there all along.[/size]
Will you dare cross the line?
