AFR was in his office... taking care of his daily tasks... filling out paper work... you know... the mindless pound your head through the wall efforts of having a mega base. Paying the bills... declaring neutrality... allowing certain countries to use your air space without chopping them to tiny bits of scrap metal. The good stuff. In another pile is his notes of the Sanctus and Nikita incidents.

Bianca basically strolled in. She winked at the guard at AFR's door. She cleared her throat and looked straight at him. "Alright, Michael. Come on. We're going on a date. Let's go. Right now." She jumped her butt on his desk, looking at him with a serious face. "Armok always ruins them and right now he's out of commission." She didn't mean to sound so rude, but AFR needed a break and he did take today off.

AFR looked at her and raised an eyebrow... "Well... you certainly put up a good debate..." He tapped his pen... "With Armok out of commission, baby. I'm not the second in command... I'm leader... I don't think it's that easy..." He bit his inner cheek... "But I did take the day off..." He smirked at her... "and like I said... you did just put up a really good debate." Paperwork could wait. He put his hand to her cheek and stroked it with his thumb. He hit his com link.
"Derrek."
D: "Yes, sir..."
"I'm going out... and I don't expect a call unless the base is on fire." Because what's the chances of that?
D: "yes, sir."
"Derrek."
D: "Yes, sir...?"
"Advance on your two word vocabulary."
D: "Yes, sir."
He shakes his head and puts the comlink down.
"I swear these guys are bred without the full use of the 10% of the brain we all normally use."

Bianca smiled. "Do you think he'd really want you all stuck in here to deal with all this mess without at least one day off?" She didn't think so, but it was Armok we're talking about. He was weird, but maybe he could understand the idea of a night off with the person that you loved. Maybe. "They're flunkies. They don't really need to use more then that," she replied, giggling. She scooted towards him, straddling him in the chair. "So what do you have in mind?" She kissed him.

AFR wrapped his arms around her as she invited herself to his lap without any protest at all on his part. He returned the kiss. "He's a different breed of military leader. Great tactician without a doubt, but when it comes to personal affairs... we are just galaxies apart. I could make this decision without batting an eye, but to him everything is a fight and he chooses the one that feeds his hunger the most." He smirked at her comment about the flunkies. "It'd be nice if they could tell me off once... I would promptly tell them to know their places in all of this, but at least to know they have a soul would be nice." He kissed her with equal enthusiasm as the first. "Well... I still owe you an edible dinner... then I thought we might go to our place for a while and catch up on lost time."

"I got the food all taken care of. I made us a picnic." Bianca kissed him again. She rested her head against his forehead. "I like it better when they don't fight. I would hate to have to shove one of my bolts up your guard's ass." She would to. It'd be a dud, but it'd be funny to watch them squirm.

AFR smiled. "That sounds wonderful, baby." AFR returned the kiss and held her right there. He loved when they got that close. AFR laughed at her threat to the guards. "That's one of many reasons why I love you... everyone with a beef with me has to worry about explosive things being jammed uncomfortably into one of their orifices." He rubbed his nose to hers. "whenever you are ready, baby. Let's get out of this x-box from hell."

She laughed. "Don't think I won't do it." Bianca didn't really want to move, but she had to if they had any hopes of sneaking out now. She moved to the other side of his desk, picking up the bag on the floor. "It's all ready and so am I. I don't want any distractions or pages or calls. You're staying with me all night." Damn straight he is! A day off is a day off! She took this day off for herself.

AFR half smiled. "I'm all for it, baby. You know I am." He kissed her gently. "But I need to bring the comlink to handle this place. If god forbid anything happens... and knowing my luck it will. I have to be the leader I'm expected to be. I don't have the liberty of time off during times of emergency. I'm expected to be the first one making the first strike and my word is first and last in defense. I'm sorry." He felt really bad about it. "When Bro is back in the front of the line you could have my phone... you could toss it out if you'd like to strengthen the point. I want this to happen as much as you do... but if I mess up my responsibility then people could die and I can't let myself do that again." He seemed a bit hurt, as if he was defeated once before in this position. "No matter where I am, two inches from your face or two hundred miles from you. I'm always yours every single night."

Bianca sighed. "Yeah, I know. I'm sorry." She understood that sort of responsibility. It was just shitty that things were the way they were. It always seemed to happen to them. If or when the time came, Bianca would be happy to do nothing more then let it all go so she could spend the rest of her time by his side. "Well, let's hope no one does anything or I really will shove explosives up orifices." She was serious at that.

I'd give this life up for you in a heart beat to be able to have you without any fear or let downs of military emergencies. If I could... but I can't yet." He held her tight. "Staying cooped up in here when I wanted to be able to fly free with you has been tougher then I could ever imagine." He was happy as hell with her and nothing else seemed to matter in his mind... but he still loved his brother and made more then a life pact with him. That couldn't be harmed by anything until Armok released him of his services. "Damn straight... in fact... I'll pick the explosive." He smirked. "Come on, baby... let's get out of here."
