Eris took a couple seconds to answer her, mostly cause she had run off to find Chelsea again, WHICH WAS NOT EASY LIKE YOU MIGHT THINK OKAY. "...She said she needs a minute, teleporting is not instant for her. But she will be there."
Well, whatever portal Mephisto had been working on was certainly not functional at the moment. He was currently making his way through his demony horde, not even bothering to put up the illusion that he was human as he batted some smaller demons out of the way. This is his angry face, and I'd run away, honestly.

Assassin stayed where he was, his eyes going through the horde and looking for any sign of Kat.
"Damn it."
He hit the tree with his fist, watching the portal closely.

I do not see any signs of Kat, but Mephisto did stop and look around for a minute before he snarled in rage and swiped at the nearest demon. And by swiped, I mean cut right in half, because he was pissed. His eyes focused directly on the hill, and he started busting his way through the crowd again, in that general direction.
Nick stirred somewhat, sounding totally confused and out of it. Aw, poor guy, "Hawk?" x.x what. "Wha' happened?" He missed like, everything.

Assassin took a step back as Mephisto began moving toward the hill.

He waited a moment, wanting to be certain Mephisto was actually coming towards them before he would leave his chance to look for Kat.

Oh no, he was definitely going in that direction. The closer he got to the hill, the louder all his cursing got. And there was a lot, cause he was old, and he knew a lot of curse words in basically a billion languages.
"Oh." x.x um, well, that sucked. Nick fell silent for a little while longer, attempting to digest that, cause it was hard D:

Assassin took another step back before turning to head back to the others.
"Hawk. Tell Chelsea to wait until you call her again to pick us up."
He said, bending down quickly to pick up Nick in a fireman's carry.
"...Mephisto's coming."

Eris was like what D: "She knows he is coming, that is why she was coming to get you!" x.x gah don't you conflict messages with her!
Mephisto stormed his way to the top of the hill, narrowing his eyes down at them. He glanced them over, doing something along the lines of a mental count before he threw his head back and laughed. But not in a happy way. In a sort of mildly psychotic way, actually, that was not at all pleasant to hear.

Assassin turned and took another few steps back. He looked at Hawk before he set Nick down near the base of the tree. He motioned for Hawk to come closer.
"Keep moving."
He said as he pushed the runes into her hand before turning to look at Mephisto.

Yeah, no, Hawk was right, Mephisto had tipped over a little more onto the crazy side than before. Just a little. He was still laughing at his own inside joke, God knows what it actually was. Annnd he was gonna come on down that there hill, flicking between looking like a demon, and looking human.
AND NICK TRIED D: He could actually manage sort of alright if he had Hawk to lean on.

Assassin moved away from Hawk and Nick back towards the cages. He picked up a few of the daggers he had left there, unnerved by how Mephisto was still laughing.

nick...<helps him get hidden behind some trees and stuff and gives him da com link and stuff> are you ok?? can ya call chelsea?? she should be ok to come here if isaac's holdin' him back <which wouldn't be for long> maybe i can get da runes around him <noo bad idea they should wait for nick for that part>

Mephisto stopped a short distance away, masking his still very present anger under a totally snarky exterior, "I must say, I'm impressed by the dedication to the cause."
Nick sat up, shaking his head in an effort to clear it somewhat, "I can...I can do that." He could handle that much, anyways. x.x "That...sounds like a bad idea." You know, maybe kinda.

Assassin said, taking a step towards him rather then back towards Nick and Hawk. He held one of the daggers tightly in his hand, thinking for a moment before throwing it directly at Mephisto's face.

Mephisto neatly sidestepped the dagger, looking all fake!hurt feelings, "Why, my dear boy, I thought we were of mostly the same opinion on this issue." Relatively speaking, of course.
x.x Nick wasn't the best person to ask at the moment, buuut he's trying, "We should come back." You know, when they could be useful and whatever.
