Kat hesitated for another moment or two, before she made her expression carefully blank, moving closer to the bars and lowering her voice a little, "...Have Hawk pick up the runes before Mephisto's goons can get them. You'll have to wait a couple days before Nick can go anywhere, but it'll be easy after that."
Nick was just chillin' >.> You know, hangin' out. x.x ohman he didn't know wtf. D: this sucked.

Assassin narrowed his eyes, looking more thoughtful then upset.
"And what exactly does that leave you to do?"
He said quietly as well, not wanting to draw Hawk's attention.

Assassin tightened his grip on the bars, looking away from her. He suddenly felt tired and shook his head somewhat to try to clear it.
"...you cannot hold them off long enough for Nick to regain his strength."
He warned, hoping that he was wrong in guessing what she was planning.
"We'll figure something else out."

Kat halfway smiled again, shaking her head, "Keep it." She never liked having to use daggers in the first place. She took a small step away from the bars, leaving one hand on them for a moment, "Remember to be careful, okay?"
superspy!Hawk. Welp, up over yonder hill, Mephisto had broken down some dimensional walls, and summoned a whole bunch of his friends, who were currently all in a big crowd. And he was saying stuff, and they were saying stuff, and none of it was probably very nice, but it was hard to tell cause it sure as hell wasn't English :3

Assassin put a hand over hers and gave her a small grin.
"I'm stuck in a cage, Kat. There really isn't anything left for me to do but be careful."
He took a step away from her, attaching the holder back to his belt.
"...hurry back."
He paused and glanced around for a moment.
"Where is Hawk?"

o.O <weird> wonder what he's sayin'....<maybe she should go closer?? noooo she probably shouldn't> huh?? <tries to move her foot and she's a dork and got her heel caught in da grass and dirt> gah stupid soft ground c'mon c'mon c'mon!! <tug tug but of course she never thinks to take off da shoe x.x noo but a couple minutes later she gets her foot free and then tumbles down da hill x.x>

Kat glanced over her shoulder, narrowing her eyes. "...I don't know." Which meant she was getting into trouble, DAMNIT HAWK D:
Annnd that shut them all up for a minute. Cue about a bajillion demons staring at her. Until one of them pointed and was like 'dude what's up with that'
Mephisto facepalmed. "Kad ran uid uv rana." He waved his hand to summon some minions, looking annoyed. GO AWAY THEY WERE BUSY.

Kat turned around, narrowing her eyes in the dark, feeling mildly annoyed that she couldn't see as well as she normally could, "She can't have gone far, I'll go drag her back and she can help me pick them up."
TOO LATE. Two of those swoopy things came and grabbed her by the arms, starting to drag her back over the hill. Mephisto was like, note to self: invest in better cages.

Swoopy1 and Swoopy2 were like bitch, please. They mostly hissed and chittered at each other, ignoring Hawk a whole bunch. THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO TAKE HER ATTITUDE.
