-Armok pulls his fist out of the demon's chest, looking down at the creature when it falls to the hard, lifeless soil of Hell. He drops the creature's spine on it, baring his teeth- ... -He pulls Blackshard out of another demon, and looks around the desolate field around the temple. Hundreds of corpses... with nearly all killed individually. Armok laughs, and cuts a swathe through reality with the sword. He steps through the portal, and is on Earth once more-

rose sat on the roof of the base. She looked startled as something familiar sparked in her empathy. She wasn't quite sure what it was just yet.

Kat was chillin' out in the training room, a pair of wireless headphones slung around her neck, while she punched at a punching bag, clearly pretty lost in thought.
Eris was lurking about in the living room, hanging upside down off the couch and reading a magazine. And by reading, I mean looking at the pictures, which was pretty much the same thing for her, in all honesty.

Pretty sure that Eris was the only one brave enough to venture within a mile of the kitchen when Hawk was cooking, and that's only because that's where the freezer was Dx Who let Hawk in the kitchen unsupervised?!

Yeah, but was she staring at Nick or staring at the food? Because that could be potentially problematic >.> Eris tiptoed behind Hawk silently, just so she wouldn't be ambushed or something. Dx

Eris was afraid of that pot. Oh so very afraid. She snuck around Hawk, intent on hitting the freezer up for a Popsicle or something, and then running for her life. Provided she wasn't discovered before then.

-Sanctus rubs his temples with a sigh, tired of reading the combat reports. Every perimeter he sets up, is breached within a day. The undead forces were evolving somehow, and one in a hundred of the walking corpses was intelligent, and could command the lesser undead. One in a thousand gained superhuman strength and agility, and formed an exoskeleton of hardened, bullet and flame-proof armor. One in ten thousand was both intelligent and super-evolved, with the ability to blend in with it's surroundings. Things were looking grim in Aldria. The temple was the only maintained safe zone- Sergeant, what is the latest report from the hellzone? -The sergeant scowls, then shrugs grimly- Sergeant: Sir, the latest transmission I got, warned us about necromancers walking the streets of some of the cities, blessing the undead and forcing that god-forsaken evolution upon them. ... -Sanctus sighs again-
=====
-Speaking of the necromancers, several in particular, of a rather vicious cult had gathered in Prague. Bound around them are several young women and a few children, about to be sacrificed to make flesh golems- We could make a bone golem, instead. Think of that, the carnage it could inflict. Flesh golems... they can burn. Bone golems cannot. -The head necromancer scratches his beard, then shrugs. He slams a dagger into the forehead of a small boy, laughing at the mother's screams. He nods his head- We should make both. Each of these boys, are going to be the hosts for a special gift. -He slams a second dagger into the head of... the room is plunged into complete, utter darkness. Darkness so thick, the cultists find it hard to move, to breathe... and then the shadows start to whisper. A voice cuts through the darkness like a blade through flesh- You are all going to die. -The lights flicker back on, and several cultists hiss, drawing their blades. They look around, and realize that the walls around them are painted with blood and pieces of flesh. Overhead, dripping organs and blood, is the head cultist. Tendrils of darkness are wrapped around him like razor wire, slicing him to the bone, pinning him to the ceiling. Where he had been standing, was a different man, clad in a trenchcoat, a pair of black pants, and riot boots. Covering his eyes are tactical sunglasses, but the cultists can feel the baleful hatred of his gaze- I don't think I need to introduce myself as anything other than your untimely demise. -One of the cultists hisses, and puts his weapon to the throat of a mother- ... Do you think these people mean anything to me? -The cultist snarls, and slits her throat. The corpse explodes, and a skeletal warrior leaps at Armok. Armok's fist shatters the skull, breaking it into chunks of bone and brain matter- Your first mistake, was stepping foot on the same continent as I, maggot. -He pulls Blackshard off his back... and the room goes pitch black once more. This time, though... the other cultists can hear the screams of terror and agony from their brethren-

Kat gingerly poked some things around on Armok's old massive desk. Christ. She knew it was technically her job at the moment, but she would've rather passed it off onto Rose, if Rose wasn't being completely emo at the moment, or Assassin, if he would take it. Stupid AFR. Stop being possessed. She slid into the chair, making a face, fiddling around with some buttons on her com link as she glanced around the rest of the office. Smelled weird, like Armok. Completely odd, considering that this place had technically been built from the ground up a few weeks ago, but...whatever. "Um...Hello? Sanctus, come in Sanctus? Is this thing on?" Lord.

-Sanctus looks up at a holoscreen built into the wall of the chamber in the battleship. He stands at attention and salutes, as the screen in Kat's new office flickers on as well- Commander, Sanctus Diaboli, Special Operatations Liason reporting in.

Kat blinked at the holoscreen as it flicked on, making a small face when he saluted her, "Please don't do that." Seriously, she had no idea what military protocol was, don't make her do it. "Can I get an update on pretty much everything?" Somebody around here needed to be in the know. She hated feeling out of the loop, even if it was a lot more stressful to be in it.

-Sanctus stands at ease, and nods- Aye, ma'am. The current analysis of the virus is that it is a mutation of several viruses combined into a super-lethal, and supernatural airborne mutation. The virus first attacks brains still in the stages of development, namely younger children, and reduces them to savage beasts of prey. Upon making them cannablistic abominations, they then hunt and kill friends, family, anything that moves and doesn't smell like them. -He sighs- The second stage of the virus only occurs upon the death of the child, or when injected into a dead or dying adult. The usual victims are of age twenty and above, and upon infection, dead tissues are, reanimated before rigor mortis sets in, creating undead abominations that then begin hunting both the infected children and anything still living naturally. The next report is the most disturbing yet.

Kat was so sorry she asked. "I hate zombies." So, so, so much. She leaned back in the chair, waving a hand, "Alright, lay the rest on me." Big picture and all that.

-Sanctus nods- There are now necromancers walking the streets of Aldria and many cities in Russia, blessing the undead. One in a hundred of the creatures becomes super-intelligent and commands the lesser undead to do it's bidding. One in a thousand mutates, becoming stronger, faster, and nearly impervious to fire and bullets. One in ten thousand, it seems, becomes both. And it grows extra limbs, or weapons. Some have gained telekenetic abilities. -He frowns- These necromancer cultists are using dozens of corpses to create skeleton warriors, bone golems, and worse... flesh golems. B'haal seems to imbue the flesh golems and undead as well in whatever city he visits, giving them all sorts of lethal viruses and diseases as well as the supervirus itself.

"...You know what I hate worse than normal zombies? Super zombies." What the hell. Seriously. What the hell. They just fixed this shit, couldn't Earth stay unbroken for longer than a month? She had been planning a vacation and everything. With another little twist of her expression, she clamped down on her own feelings, trying to handle this properly, and not like she normally would. "Alright..." Sigh. "And what are we doing about any of this?" If there was anything to be done, of course.

-Sanctus clicks a button, and suddenly a map pops up on Kat's holodisplay. It shows, in two panels, both Aldria and Russia. It zooms in on various cities and locations, showing all of the Blacksun killzones, hellzones, and safe zones. It also shows the heavily fortified temple on Aldria where all the people were attempting to flee, where they were evacuated by Blacksun forces- A killzone is a perimeter where we kill any enemy trying to escape. A hellzone means, quite literally, hell on earth. Anything that tries to leave that zone, has to be killed. There are no survivors there, due to either B'haal or the necromancers. I've set up positions all across Russia and around Aldria, but B'haal appears where he chooses, infecting with gleeful abandon- -He is interrupted by a small box on his holomap, and he clicks the pad, sharing the transmission with Kat as well. The transmission shows a satellite image of a man standing in the middle of a Hellzone, in a black leather trenchcoat- ... Is that...

Kat leaned forward in the chair again, taking in the map. Okay, that was a relatively simple concept, and seemed to work well enough besides B'haal, who seemed to be the really big problem here, along those necromancers. If they could get rid of those two factors, this would probably go a lot smoother. She frowned slightly, pulling her hair back into a ponytail so it wasn't in her face, doing a bit of a double take as the transmission came through, "...Oh come on." You have got to be kidding her. Crap, was Armok gonna be pissed that she was in his chair?
