Rules
1. There will be no god-modding of any sort. For those who don’t know what god-modding is, there are two different descriptions. The first, is making your character so powerful that no one can attack or harm it. And the other is deciding what happens to another persons character. If you god mod, the result will be anywhere from a one hour ban to a full day ban. Do not call someone out if they are. Just report it to an admin. Take a screen shot or quote it.
2. Currently, there is no limit on how many characters you can have, but please, keep it reasonable. Don’t have twenty characters and only play one or two of them. Try to keep all characters you make, active. Though, we would appreciate it if you kept your characters under four, please.
3. As for powers for your characters, please, again, keep it reasonable for the sake of everyone else. And make them connected. As an example, having a character have pyro-kinesis and be from Atlantis or Atlantica, wouldn’t be reasonable, or logical for that matter. I don’t care if you saw it in a video game once, it doesn’t matter. I would love it if everyone kept their powers somewhat at a low amount. I don’t want to see a character with twenty different powers.
4. [Redacted]
5. Any threads that have been inactive for more than a week or two, will be moved to the Archived Threads board. If you’re grounded or can’t get on and a thread is moved, talk to one of the admins and we’ll gladly move it back to its original spot for you.
6. We do have a Zero Tolerance policy on this forum. Any public arguments or fights will get you immediately banned. You get three chances. Once you use all of them up, you are banned for good. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. If you argue on the C-box, you will be banned from the C-box. If you argue on the boards, then you will be banned from the boards. If you’re going to argue, keep it in Private Messages or better yet, way off the site.
7. Please, please, for your sake and ours, respect the Admins decisions. Don’t argue and gripe about changes on the site. If you feel something that an admin has done was unjust, please go to another admin and report it. It will be discussed and possibly fixed. The Admins of this site are usually very just and work very hard to keep the site nice and fit for you.
8. There was a problem on another site that got a friend of mine banned and I thought I’d address the same problem here. As for nudity in pictures, whether they be anime or real, I’d appreciate it if you just put the link and a fair warning. No code, just put “This picture contains nudity” somewhere in there so, again, you don’t scar any of the younger members. If you want to put a click-able link, here’s the code:
[url= url to picture or place] Text you want to show [/url]
9. If you’re going to kill off someone’s character, please have their permission first. I don’t think anyone wants to get a Private Message of a member complaining that someone killed off their character and it wasn’t fair. So please, have a mutual agreement on it.
10. This is a somewhat Mature Board, so we do allow cursing [Though, there’s really no reason to swear 40 times in one sentence.], pregnancy, suicides, drug use, and all that good stuff that makes teenage life full of drama. Just, try to keep some of it down to a minimum. Sure, your character can commit suicide, just, if their resurrected, please don’t have them repeatedly do it. It just makes it difficult and a bit annoying for everyone else.
11. As for the flooding of your character, we’d appreciate it if you kept your character in one place at one time. If you must, you may have them in two places at once, but don’t have them meet up. It would make it very confusing for everyone else.
12. On this forum, if you’re using a picture for your character, we’d suggest you use an anime picture. Though, you are allowed to use people from myspace or a celebrity if you want to. Sometimes you can’t find what you’re looking for in one category, so feel free to look through pictures of real people.
13. Make your characters somewhat original. I don’t want to see someone named “Buffy Summers”. Come on people. Try to keep it without a lawsuit for copyright infringement. Plus, it irks the hell out of me.
14. To keep the Role Play as realistic as possible, please don’t let your OOC traits or emotions in real life slip into your character. For example, if you have to role play with someone you just got into a fight with, your character shouldn’t just all of a sudden hate their character.
15. If you’re going to speak out-of-character (OOC) in any time during the Role Play, please place OOC: before your text. You can also use [ ], < >, * *, or anything to that extent. Any OOC comments must be accompanied by an Role Play post. This also goes for the C-box. If you’re going to talk in the C-box, you have to Role Play. The only exception is if you’re waiting for someone and your characters are tied up.
16. Please don’t spam the boards. It makes it a hassle and bother for the Administrators and Moderators because we have to go back and delete posts. If you don’t know where to post something, like an advertisement or random thread, ask someone.
17. Don’t harass other members unless it’s in character and it’s part of their character. This falls under the Zero Tolerance Rule. Learn it. Don’t disobey it. If you do, we’ll have problems.
18. Your characters may not fight your characters. They can fight the same battle. But, they may not fight each other.
