This is a reconstructed version of Blazer Kid (pre-SC), without all the confusion that I put along with her history years ago. I guess you might call it a reboot on her character, but it’s this version that I consider ‘canon’ in a way BTW I wanted to put her under the Inactive Char. forum BUT IT WOULDN'T LET ME :-0
Name: Reiya
Nickname: Blazer (formerly BlazerKid)

Race:
Height/Weight: 5'6"/115 lbs

Appearance:
The body and form of Reiya’s dark hair is essentially wavy, though it’ll curl in cooler climates. Her face is reminiscent to that of a feline, suggestive of her demonic traits, and her eyes appear to be blazing and bright, despite a lack of sleep that appears noticeable on her eyes. She is thin, and is almost underweight. In spite of this, she seems healthy and energetic. She wears an unkempt, long-sleeved, short gown (similar to a mandarin gown) and knee length leggings over her plates of armor; all of this is layered by a rebozo-like shawl she wears over her shoulders, though it is old and tattered. Traditionally laced sandals of an unknown origin are her choice for traveling on foot. She may be seen with a rather large and tall scythe.Picture:
(Played by Saoirse Ronan)Personality:
Quiet. Mysterious. Secretive. Doesn’t seem to have much of a personality unless you get to know her. A closer look shows that, given the chance, she can be headstrong over her abilities to perform, and is seen as, for the lack of a better word, stubborn because of it, but will be obedient if need be. She can also be seen as practical and serious and will go beyond the limits to show that she is capable of her abilities, all the while trying to prove she can be good. This is actually due to her being possessed by an evil spirit, in which she believes her performance on the job will somehow make up for all the evil that is inside her, but in the end, it seems to her that it is inevitable to rid the spirit, and thus takes great care, although meticulously, to be in full control at all times. The only thing that may make up for all of this is the ability to show empathy and care for others, even when it may hinder herself.Likes/Dislikes:
The spirit, on the other hand, exploits Reiya’s deeply disguised traits. It acts on her envy for those seen as a threat, and takes excessive pride throughout its rampage. The spirit is malicious as well as sadistic. It relishes over the fear it brings to its host, and will do anything to take over her body for its own.

-The evil spirit
Born with her family’s genetic abilities, she can direct fire as well as produce it. She is a natural-born user of pyrokinesis, an ability that involves the heating up of material, and has shown exceptional quality as a master of her deceased family‘s art. She is able to sense heat and increase her own body temperature. As a result of this, she has developed other abilities as well.Weaknesses:
Limited geokinesis: By heating up minerals, she may be able to melt it and temporarily control it. This obviously includes lava.
When she loses control of the spirit, her powers are further enhanced. In addition to the powers above, she may be able to shape fire to her desire. At this stage, she may externally heat up the environment around her drastically and produce immense fire up to long distances.
Cool environments do have somewhat of an effect on her powers, depending on how low the temperatures may be. Reiya may overwork her powers at times and may cause her to excite her body temperature too much. This may also allow her to lose too much of her fluids as well. Her sense of heat may temporarily blur whenever she generates her fire, becoming “blind” to what’s around her.Other Skills:
Close to mid combat is her area of expertise. Excellent in scythe-wielding, as well as other traditional weapons, even though the scythe is a heavy weapon. She is double-jointed, and this can help her in battle when she may have to contort in various ways to meet the demands of a worthy and agile opponent. She is proficient in hand-to-hand combat. Being part demon, her physical capabilities are higher than that of a human. Once heir to her family, she knows extensive history and traditions related to demons and other creatures. Being an itinerant, she has learned to live and take care of herself. She is able to survive and adapt to an environment she may not be familiar with, ranging from desolate places to more urban areas, and she has a good sense of what the world has to offer.History:
She was born from a human, named Celestine, and a savage clan lord, a demon named Kenru. Before this, his clan was dying, and he wanted to bring about a new generation that could rule the Underworld. But he could not do that without a female. He decided to seek out an ancient spirit that would help him find a portal to the human world. In exchange, the spirit wanted him to give up a body that it may possess. And so, a deal was made.Other Characters: Serelna (inactive)
He, along with remaining clan members, would kidnap and rape many women and let them conceive their children. Reiya was a part of this generation alongside her older sister Serelna, who was discovered to have had a special kind of fire, blue flames. Thinking it a curse, Kenru gave the title of heir to Reiya, leading to friction between the sisters since then. Despite Celestine giving birth to two of her rapist’s offspring, there was a mutual love between mother and daughters. Up until Reiya’s teens, she was raised to grow up strong and to be better, learning many things ranging from hunting and sparring to history and discipline. She was prodigy in the clan’s eyes, and she was seen as a threat from afar. Yet despite this, she never shared her father’s desire to rule the Underworld with vengeance, and in fact she would sometimes hate him and the clan for it. Her mother was the most prominent in her life and she had taught Reiya and Serelna well, giving them a sense of morality. She taught them about the portal and how it led to a world different than this one, one that wasn’t cruel and harsh.
It took long before the spirit once again appeared to Kenru, asking for his end of the bargain they made. Promising to bring greater power to its host, the spirit let Kenru choose Reiya as its container. A ceremony was made for this event, and a ceremonial scythe was given to Reiya in honor of the spirit. But it turned out to be his clan’s undoing. Once possessed, Reiya kills everyone in her clan, including her mother. The whereabouts of her father and sister were unknown, as Reiya escaped into the human world. There, she learned to live with the evil spirit, waiting to take over whenever she let her guard down.
Throughout her stay in the human world, she would help people and tend to the downtrodden from place to place. And it had been this way since, but during this time she would often wonder about her sister, and whether or not she would ever find her.
