Fenrir, the name adopted by the Germanic tribes conquered by the Roman Empire to describe a merciless Roman Primus Pilus, or "First Centurion." Because this was the life in which he damned himself, the armor that he displays was crafted by the finest of the Roman blacksmiths.Picture:
From his scowling grimace to his plated toes, Fenrir was a menacing human and that menace was only multiplied by damnation. On his shoulders, above his platemail pauldrons, is a wolf-pelt. Beneath that is a boiled leather breastplate with iron bands, gilded with an ebony wolf leaping at his enemies.
A shirt the color of dried blood billows between his iron gauntlets and studded elbow-pads. Beneath the leather kilt attached to the breastplate are leggings of iron bands and boiled leather.
His legs are protected by well-hinged greaves that do not slow his movement what-so-ever.
A cloak that seems to be the color of a dull ember wraps around his shoulders, not touched by the breeze, seeming to emanate the fires of hell.
---
His only piercing is his left ear, four times, to show his rank in his legion.
There is a black sunburst tattoo on his chest, which is untouched by the scars worn proudly by most of his race of kindred damned.

Fenrir was a brilliant tactician, and proud of the rank he had earned. He was the anomaly: his family had no money, and he rose from the gutter to become the highest military rank possible in the Roman Legions. As such, his personality reflected the calculating arrogance of a man in a position of power, which helped lead to his demise. His voice carries, and when someone hears it, they want to obey any directive he gives.Likes/Dislikes:
Now tinged with the deep baritone of damnation, his voice is no longer merely commanding, instead taking on an air of sinister malice and terrifying dementia. The rage that reflects in his eyes, once the cloudless blue of the heavens, is enough to make angels tremble in terror. When Fenrir is angry, he will kill until his fury is satiated.

Flammabulus, or Fenrir, is a pyrokinetic. Because of his ability to generate hellfire, his powers are intense.Weaknesses:
(The downside to advanced pyrokinesis is that the flames can harm him when he is enraged)
Superhuman traits such as strength and agility given to him by thousands of years damned to hell. He earned his rank as a demon, and when he broke the chains tying him to Hell, he learned to use those powers to crush anything in his path.
His reflexes were near superhuman when he was alive, after years and years of training with the best military machine in the history of the world, second only to perhaps Sparta. Now, as an infernal demon, even the mightiest of the Witchers would be terrified to face him in single combat.
--- Infernal Warlord ---
Due to his rank in Hell, Fenrir can gate in lesser demons to fight with him or for him. Over the years in Darkmoor, his legions have grown to mighty proportions, including some of the darkest fiends hell has to offer.
+++++++++++
His cloak: The reason it emanates heat is because it is truly wings of fire, similar to those of a balrog. He forces the flames to die down to the heat of dull embers, raising his body-temperature to alarming numbers. However, when the time comes for him to bare his blade of heresy, the wings unfurl and roar to life, granting him not only a viable weapon but also the ability of flight.
Excessive water such as rivers, oceans, or floods.Other Skills:
Extended exposure to light
Fenrir is a master tactician. Because of this, he is excellent at leading demons he enslaves, or humans/ any other race that choose to follow him.History:
Fenrir is a master of any sword of sword or spear, and has also mastered the weapons of the Order to learn how to counter them. The one weapon he will not touch is a gun.
Fenrir speaks Latin, English, Infernal, and several various slanguages.
Originally named Patroniclus by his family, Fenrir was born in the poor quarters of Rome. Knowing that he could not advance past infantry in the Legion, he educated himself. At the tender age of twelve, he became an assistant to a politician.Other Characters: The Armok
For the next two years, he was further educated, and trained to be the politician's bodyguard. However, when the man began making advances at Fenrir, he mysteriously was found dead, after throttling himself. After that, Fenrir enlisted in the Roman Legion and was sent to fight the Germanic Barbarians and Gauls.
Several months and campaigns later, nervous officers sent the now aptly named "Fenrir," at the rank of Legatus Legionis, back to Rome. Stories of his brutal slaughtering of entire units of Gaul soldiers beat him to the city, and he was greeted as a hero. His cold, calculating menace was tabled and he was decorated with medals and rewards, one of which the wolf-mantle he wears to this day, given to him by the Emperor himself.
By fifteen, the Praetorians nearly engaged in guerrilla warfare with the unit that had Fenrir, simply to kill the officer and claim the young man as one of their own. However, bloodshed was prevented when the sweating Princeps Prior gave the young warrior to the Praetorians. Over the next three years, Fenrir stopped two assassination attempts and turned a potential massacre into a complete route.
At eighteen, word reached the Roman Empire that the Gauls had gathered a massive military force, and rebellions were striking simultaneously across the Gaul-infested empire. Fenrir was given command of the Praetorian spear-head that would lead the Legion behind enemy lines, where he was to kill the Gaul "Royal" family, or tribal king.
Word reached the Gauls that "the Fenrir" had returned, and that the time of judgement was upon them. The Germanic warriors painted themselves to prepare for war, and marched on the Praetorian encampment.
Unfortunately for the Gauls, Fenrir had prayed that they would be that bold. The entire camp was nothing but a meat-grinder, and pitch-soaked tents stuck to Gaul warriors like napalm. Thousands of Gaul's died, and now Fenrir had a new name, one spoken only with dread amongst the Roman Legion. Flammabulus. Flame Dancer.
At age twenty-one, Fenrir was charged with treason against the throne for laughing at the Emperor, and when he refused to repent for his laughter, he was sentenced to death. Two hundred faithful Praetorians fought off over ten Decurions and their Praetorians, faithful to Fenrir.
To prevent further bloodshed and loss of life, and possibly the unraveling of the bloodiest empire in the world, Fenrir asked for his men to surrender and ask for the Emperor's forgiveness. He was sentenced to fight in the Gladiatorial Arenas. Despite slaying several score men, in the end Fenrir was slain by crossbowmen of the Emperor, thus ending the reign of the Flamedancer.
The next two thousand years were spent in Hell, where the general rule was "You keep what you kill," and when Fenrir finally slew a significant warlord, he was given an option by a fiend wreathed in damnation darker than the sun was bright. Fenrir allowed his soul to be consumed by hellfire, to become a part of hellfire. Fenrir was born anew, a demon.
