Assassin sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
"Look, it seems that you two have decided that there is an issue which I'd be more than happy to listen to if you could tell me what you thought that issue is."
He forced himself to take a small step back.
"I'm fine, nothing is wrong and Brianna isn't that big of threat to worry about."

He shook his head but kept a hand on the back of his neck.

Assassin shot Kat a look when he heard her tone change.
"Unless Brianna has taken up the fine art of having someone attacked, left completely unharmed and then erasing all memory of her own involvement but not the actual incident, I think she'll be somewhat willing to help us."

Assassin had been staying away from where the others hung out almost daily now. He stayed mostly in the common areas for the soldiers, which earned him odd looks at first. He kept to himself and they left him alone which worked out perfectly for both parties involved.
