Rose got up from cuddling with Kat and pretending to sleep. She walked down the hall, worrying, pacing at times.

AFR was up now... kind of moving with difficulty... but well enough. He turned the corner there and he saw Rose pacing... He moved to her as to not startle her. It'd be the last thing she needed. "Rose..." He offered. Then smiled gently.

He went and stood in front of her, leaning on the wall a bit. He put a warm hand to her shoulder... "How you holding up?" He face was riddled with concern. "I'm... sorry about adding another thing for you to worry about."

AFR nodded. "Hey... I understand... perhaps now more then ever, Rose." He moved to her side and leaned a bit to her. "I saw you all there... he was screaming at Hawk... I don't know what came over me, but I remembered what we talked about. Everything I said... I hope with my blood was fulfilled. I can't..." He paused He slumped over and fell to a knee. "I guess I'm still a bit weak."

Rose crouched down, worrying crossing her features. "Here." She put a hand on his arm and started slowly working with his energy. Trying to build it some. "I dunno. Everythings just...Ugh." She didn't know what to say. "I hate being worried about him. I hate it. I'm scared to be around him. I get nervous and panicky and submissive and I hate it."

the energy she gave to him brought him back to his feet. "Well, Rose." He returned to his place at her side. "What you have to realize is that your hate is directed at the situation, not the man behind it." He paused again. Staying up on his own. "He took a lot in today... lets see if he's any more wise. Maybe even a 800 year old demon could learn something new about something he was born to understand." He shook a little. "I pleaded with you all earlier... I risk everything I stand for... on the hopes that he will arise tomorrow and redeem himself. For all of us." AFR had a lot of hurt inside.

"I don't hate him, AFR. I'm scared of him." She didn't want to admit that. She had never once in her stay with the Shadow Clan felt any fear of Armok. But now she was. She sighed. "I hope something changes. I hate this."

He nodded. "I do to... and your feelings... they are justified." He kinda hugged her... the best he could anyways. "It's out of our hands... and falls completely in his. Have faith, my dear... He will come back a better man... for you and for us..." He smiled. "So says the man who he stabbed... but fool me once, shame on you... fool me twice, and hell comes in two." He lightly sighed. "The moment he senses the fear in you he will do anything in this Earth to ease your pain... I know because we're brothers... and that's what I would do in a heart beat."

Rose leaned on him, listening. "I'm trying to have faith, AFR." She sighed softly. "You're not the only one." Rose frowned a little, closing her eyes now. "I don't know about that."

He held her a bit tighter. "Nothing I could say should convince you anyways. He's the man with everything to lose right now. Including you. If he doesn't rise to this occasion... then he's lost a hell of a lot more then honor and respect... You're a beautiful person and a loving soul. He'd be a god damned fool to let you go..." He half smiled. "Whether you think so or not..." Speaking from experience.

She smiled a little. Sadly though. "You don't understand." She sighed. "His actions towards me say otherwise. He ripped me apart in front of his entire army, AFR. After backhanding me for arguing with him in his tent."

AFR was taken off by this... completely... he has only heard of this now. "I..." He began... "I apologize... I had no idea..." Really he didn't... because he wouldn't have let it stand. He stroked her cheek a bit... "If that's what happened... then I can't believe him... anything he speaks of honor will fall to death ears to me." He looked into her eyes. "For how special you are... for him to display that..." He shook his head. "I'm sorry. That's out of line... you still love him... I still love him. But he has things to answer to. to hell with me... he has to answer to Kat, he has to answer to you, to Hawk. If he doesn't I will gladly walk away from this with you."

Rose sighed quietly. "Ran me through." Practically. "He tricked Sanctus as I was leaving. He moved to run me through then moved out of the way when Sanctus went to stop him. Sanctus did it by accident. I blame Armok though. It wouldn't have happened if he wasn't being a dick." She made a face. "He backhanded me because I was being out of line with him about Kat." She shook her head a little. "Don't be sorry." Rose shrugged and smiled a little sadly. "I do. And I hate that I do right now."

He tried to look into her eyes. "All of that... and you still love him. Then he is without a shade of a doubt the luckiest man alive... and I will never stop reminding him of that." He put his hand back to her shoulder. "I lost my chance with you... but to this day every moment we shared was worth the scarring of the sky. I won't let him piss that away."

He smiled back. "No matter what came and gone for us, Rose. You could always confide in me... You are always welcome. " He felt all too familiar there. "Can I do anything for you, Rose? Screw the prisoner shtick... anything you need, I'd be honored to deliver." AFR knew where Armok's stash was :3.
