-Aubrey finally gets a good hit off... and it was a damn good hit. His elbow broke through three ribs into soft tissue beneath, and he falls forward, gasping. Old habits die hard, you see-

-Sanctus notices a shimmer in the corner of his eye, then continues scanning their surroundings. He blinks, then lashes out with his demon hand. He hits a crossbow bolt mid-flight, and it slams into Armok's shoulder. Soldiers return fire, and the man that shot the bolt presumably becomes hamburger helper-
Damnit.

-Armok's body jerks to the side as a highly unpleasant burning sensation spreads across his chest. He rips that arrow out too, anger levels rising to near 9000-

Hikari flipped over him. Her sword going into the neck of the other assassin. She smirked, pushing it farther and farther in. "You're more trouble then you are worth." Kicking the man off her weapon, she slightly turned and looked at Aubrey. APPARENTLY IT'S RAINING. Hikari sighs. "And it has to rain, doesn't it?"

-Sanctus gestures angrily and several of the more veteran SC soldiers follow him. He barks a few orders and huge spotlights illuminate the fields around them. Transports begin quick recon runs around the base, hunting for more assassins. Kill squads of SC begin permeating the area, hunting for anyone that doesn't know the code of the day. WHICH IS EVERYONE, AND THE CODE IS Hellscream-

-Nasty black lines spread from the crimson one around his throat, and he hisses dangerously. His eyes settle on the rapidly expiring assassin that tried to garrote him. Needless to say, when he finished, not only was the man's spinal cord visible... not even a percentage of his blood was left in his body. The leathery husk had wilted around the skeleton, and was not recognizable-
...
-He rises, a dangerous glare settling on approaching Shadow Clan soldiers. He starts to snap a wrist... but pauses, remembering where he is... and what Hikari just said-

Kat still looked and felt absolutely awful, the guilt she felt lancing through her chest like a physical pain. "I should've just let him take it."
And oh my god people are shooting and Nick's like WHAAT so he's just going to stick with Hawk and like uh be ready to run if he had too!

She wiped her blade on the dead soldier, rolling her eyes. "Do you have to shout?" Hikari takes a few steps back nearer to Aubrey. She looked at all the surrounding soldiers, a low growl slipping from her lips.

Her violet eyes narrowed. She was half naked people! Apparently being half naked does not stop people from taking you to other people. Either way. Hikari noticed the light touch. Her anger slipped for a second. She pulled her hand away. Stubbornly, she moved inside their tent rather fast to at least get some pants, shoes and her dagger holder. She was now in her leather pants, knee high boots and a bra.

-Sanctus guides them through the kill squads, then through the column of soldiers surrounding Armok and the command tent. He waits about ten yards away for Armok to finish whatever he was doing with Hawk and Nick, turning to speak with Aubrey and Hikari-
The man who is bleeding on himself is Armok Everhate. He is the leader of the Shadow Clan, and despite my dislike for him... he is a damn good leader, and a ruthless tactician. He will decide whether you live or die, and if you truly stand on the side of righteousness or the side of Tanor.
-He says this casually, despite the fact that he is speaking of whether or not they will live the night-

I don't think I take kindly to threats... to myself, or to her.
-He hikes a thumb at Hikari-

Nick was pretty much just going to hold onto Hawk until one of them figured out what the hell was going on >.> AND I GUESS ARMOK WAS TALKING TO THEM HOLY SHIT, "Um...hi."
Kat inhaled sharply before she lifted her head again, shaking her hair out of her face, "Fuck him." She looked down at her mostly empty glass, her fingers tightening against it, "...I want to hurt something."
