I don't see Kat the kind of person who will attack an unarmed man." He seemed confident... and not just telling Rose what she wanted to hear. He believed this in his core. "Life is just that important... to all of us inside."

He offered her a rock to chuck. "Your feelings are pure..." He took one of his own "remain rock steady... you will be rewarded." Kane was still keeping himself out of the group. But he cared for them deeply. "The only time when hope is ever truly lost is when all feeling is given up." He chucked the rock only a short distance this time...

he chuckled... "nice one." He took another... not to be out done... He reared back with his might... The rock continued through the first tree and passed through about three others. "That's not very good for the tree..." He seemed upset at himself.

He smirked... "only one way to find out I guess..." He produces the bucket he was getting those rocks from. "Go ahead... call your mark." He limbered up. He was having honest to god fun...

She pointed at a tree. That one. Enough anger and energy, she could do it. Rose picked up a pretty small rock, energy around it. She threw it as hard as she could. Sure enough, the tree fell.

He claps "Good show" ^^... he looked around... he pointed to a tree "That one..." He held the rock between his fingers he then took a pitchers stance and let it rip... as the rock penetrated the tree trunk the force was such that the tree split in two and fell to two different sides.

He kinda blushed a bit... "uh... nah... it's nothing special." He smiled and looked back out to the trees. "You all have powers like healing and energy and stuff... I just throw stuff long distances. The rest is physics running it's course." He was humble at least. "You're all heroes... it's pretty god smacking just to be around you all."

Kane closed his eyes... then looked at her as if she could be trusted. "Well... I was thinking about last night is all... what those men told me..." He tossed a rock around between his hands. "I guess I haven't come to terms with it yet."

He scratched his head. "You know... they told me I couldn't have children... me and Jhoselen tried for a long time to have kids... and to be honest... I wasn't being true to myself... I started losing hope." He put the rock back in it's bucket. A single tear followed. "But all isn't lost... The miracle child I had been waiting for happened. Next time I won't need to hope for a miracle."

Rose didn't know what to say to that. She just fell silent and looked away. She wanted to say something so bad. But she needed this kid to still somewhat like Armok to help end this war.

He smiled again. "So... Rose... what does your clan future hold?..." He tried to pull her back into the conversation. "How long until you seek a chance at the joy of a child?"
