Nick shrugged, smiling, "It's not a problem, Hawk, seriously. That's what I'm here for, isn't it?" Pretty much.
Kat made her way down the hallway quietly, pausing in front of Assassin's door once she reached it. She took a sip of her coffee, before lifting her hand, hesitating for a moment before she knocked on the door.

Assassin looked up at the knock and pushed himself back to his feet. He held the towel at his waist and walked over to the door, leaving the id's on the desk. He opened the door and raised an eyebrow at Kat. "...hey."

o.o "Um..." Well, he had never been asked that before, "...No, actually." D: omg "But how hard could it be, really?" I mean, if Dairy Queen can do it, who can't?
Kat mimicked his raised eyebrow, taking another sip of her coffee before she replied. "Hi. Busy?"

Assassin shook his head. "Not at all. Come in." He stepped back into his room, grabbing a sweat pants to change into quickly. He stepped back into the bathroom and returned, leaving the towel behind.

<.< "I don't think it quite works like real cake." Yeah, ice cream doesn't take well to being shoved inside an oven usually.
Kat stepped inside his room, glancing around as he stepped into the washroom, folding her arms across her chest. She was just going to stand in silence for a few moments, give her a minute or two to get going.

Assassin sat back down on the edge of his bed once more, rubbing the back of his neck. He cast a glance over at Kat and wasn't sure what he should say to her at this point.

"Tell you what, you find a recipe, and we'll see if we can make one." If not, they would have ice cream anyways, so it was win-win.
Kat let out a small sigh, "I...was trying to think of a less cliche way of saying it, but...so much for that." Yeah, really now, "We kinda need to talk..." Scary words, oh dear.

"I figured that's what you wanted to say." He muttered quietly, feeling a bit awkward now. "Have a seat." He moved over on the bed so she at least didn't have to stand by the door.

Why the hell would they have cookbooks, nobody ever made food except for Nick. He laughed a little, "We don't have to do it right now...And besides, if you can't find one, there's always the internet." INTERNET SAVES THE DAY.
Kat moved across the room, sitting down on the bed next to him. "We don't have to do it right this very minute if you're tired or something..." Although putting it off would probably make her chicken out or something.

"...I'm alright." He shrugged and leaned back onto his hands. "There really is no time like the present."

Kat nodded, "I guess..." She had been afraid he was going to say something like that. She sighed somewhat, debating with herself for a moment or two before she began speaking again. "...We don't talk." Nope, not really.
"Of course they do, Google knows everything." Totally did. Nick also refused to believe that Hawk had never shopped online before, so.

"...well, what do you want to talk about?" He knew that this wasn't either of their strong suits but he also knew that just like Kat, if the subject was avoided once, he'd continue to try and avoid it for awhile.

Quick, somebody make him stop! o.o "You don't know about Google?" D: OHMYGOD.
Kat shook her head, "No, it's not that...It's not that we don't have conversations, because we do, but we don't talk about...stuff." Increasingly vague, that was good. "...Stuff like why you felt the need to run off to Argentina. Stuff like why I can't ever think of anything to say to you when anything resembling that comes up." Blah. The not-fun stuff, "I think we're somewhat incapable of having a serious conversation." No, really?

Assassin blinked and stared at her for a moment. "...you're right. I suppose we're both a bit...new to this." At least that was one way he could describe it. "As far as the Argentina event...I had to go really. It was a request from someone I used to work with and well, I don't think I was thinking too clearly when I accepted the job."
