Assassin walked back towards the portal with Kat. Rose showing up might not have been a good idea but hopefully Mephisto was only bluffing.
"...let's go."
He moved closer to the portal but looked over at Rose to make sure she was leaving as well.

Lianne nodded. "Yeah. They headed back to help." Uh huh.
Rose resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Ugh. She moved back towards her portal. "Goodnight Mephisto." She turned on her heel and waited for Kat and Assassin to slip into the portal before she did.

Kat paused right at the edge of the portal, to make sure Rose wasn't going to pull something stupid, like pushing them in and then closing it. Because she would absolutely kill Rose if she tried that. With a small sigh of relief as she saw Rose walking towards them, she tossed one look over her shoulder at Mephisto before stepping through the portal.
Mephisto chuckled, "Goodnight dearest." Yeah, he was totally mocking her. But hey, what was she gonna do about it? Nothing, that's what.
Eris nodded, attempting to be encouraging, "I am sure they will be." x.x She thought they were pretty much dead.
Nick stared blankly at Lianne and Robyn for a moment, "That seems...very counterproductive..." x.x Christ.

Assassin followed Kat into the portal and relaxed as soon as he could no longer hear Mephisto's voice.

Rose paused in front of the portal. Her fists clenching and then unclenching. She did this to try and calm herself down. And then she felt Hawk and Eris in the building. Shit. God damn it. She didnt close the portal but she didnt go through it either.
Lianne nodded. "Eh. I would say so"

Kat turned around, watching Assassin step through the portal, her expression shifting slightly when Rose seemed to be taking her sweet time, "Oh no...Rose, don't you dare!" Not the second time this week, she could not possibly be doing what Kat thought she was doing.
Mephisto was in a giggly mood, honestly. This was delightful, "Was it something I said?" Hehehehee.
Nick sighed. "You are....pessimistic about this." Which was understandable really, there wasn't a whole lot to be optimistic about. x.x He didn't even know what to say.
Eris was duh, following after Hawk like a shadow or something.

Assassin felt a bit odd standing halfway in a portal. He blinked and looked back and saw that this was probably going all to Hell in just a few moments. He stepped out of the portal, putting a hand on Kat's shoulder.
"Rose, don't listen to him. We need to leave."
He tried to put more emphases on the we since Kat wasn't leaving without Rose and he wasn't leaving with Kat.

Lianne resisted the urge to panic. Really. She was.
Rose turned on her heel quickly and narrowed her eyes. She couldnt think of anything to say. Not a damn thing. In fact, she was stalling. Cause if Hawk was going to burst through that door, she didnt want it to be face to face with Mephisto. She wanted to be able to get her and Eris out of here. She listened as Assassin and Kat spoke. Hawk and Eris are right outside the door to the roof. I'm not leaving them here. She spoke only to Assassin and Kat, her mental barriers going up.

Kat stared at Rose, narrowing her eyes after a moment, taking a small step backward as she felt Assassin's hand on her shoulder, "Rose, I swear to God, if you do not get your ass over here..." Christ, send Nick after Hawk and Eris, he could get to them first, Kat really wanted to get out of here.
Mephisto watched the silent conversation with a smirk, summoning another dagger to his hand with a lazy flick of his wrist, flipping it between his fingers again.
<.< "Uh...optimistic?" Y'know, just maybe. They needed an optimist around, Hawk couldn't do it all herself.
Eris nodded, "I can hear them..." Perfectly well, in fact. Nobody was screaming or crying, so that was good. x.x "Perhaps...we should wait until they come to us?"

Assassin narrowed his eyes at the dagger that Mephisto had summoned.
"Rose..."
Assassin couldn't say much else without letting Mephisto know what they had been talking about but she had to get a message to Nick to get the other two out of the area.
"...let's stop wasting time with him."

Rose sighed and watched the dagger. Two messages were now being sent out telepathically. Hawk, get Eris and yourself away from the door. Kat and Assassin are safe. Go back downstairs. and the second? Well, that was to scare the hell out of poor Lianne. Rose couldnt send messages to Nick. Her telepathy worked like her empathy. Only mental connections that she had previously could work. Lianne, tell Nick to come get Hawk and Eris. She moved back towards the portal quickly now.
Lianne eeped loudly and flailed. She so needed to get used to this stuff ;-; "okay okay." She looked over at Nick, trying not to have a heart attack here. "Rose wants you to go get Hawk and Eris from the hotel."

Kat stayed exactly where she was standing, watching Rose,"Rose, come on." Goddamnit, she was getting sick of standing here. Now Nick had Hawk and Eris, they could get the hell out of here. She took another few small steps back as Rose approached, only a few steps from being in the portal.
Mephisto chuckled quietly as he listened to the coversation. Baha. Everybody was running aorund, and it was great.
Eris wrinkled her nose slightly, at the distasteful thoughts Hawk's truths presented. She was right, none of them were criers at all. So that wasn't helpful, how could she tell if something was going wrong if they were just going to talk normally until they died?
<.< "You are awfully cynical for a kid." Y'know, just FYI. o.o Nick glanced over at Lianne with a raised eyebrow, "Uh...okay..." Yeah, see, he missed the part with telepaths. "Don't go anywhere." Off to find Hawk and Eris!

Assassin kept his eyes on Mephisto as Rose started to make her way back to the portal. At least he could stop being worried about Hawk and Eris for a moment but that was replaced with the uneasy feeling that came at him because Mephisto still had not left yet.

Rose could agree with Assassin when it came to the unease. She didnt like the lingering. She glanced over her shoulder before slipping into the portal. It closed behind her, but she kept a mental connection with Hawk and Eris. She wasnt taking any chances. When on the other side of the portal, they were with Lianne and Robyn. Rose was roping everyone together. Now all they needed was Hawk, Eris and Nick.
Lianne scrunched up her nose as Assassin, Kat and Rose appeared. "You all are trying to scare me to death arent you?" Yeah. She was pretty sure of it now.

Kat spared once last glance over her shoulder before she stepped through the portal ending up with....everybody else. x.X Lord almighty. She was away from the rooftop, but she didn't feel any better.
Eris jumped as Nick appeared right in front of herself and Hawk, nearly tackling him because she thought he was Mephisto. x.x Boo!
Nick blinked, glancing at the two of them, "Hi. No time to talk, we gotta run." Without waiting for much of a reply, he reached out and grabbed them both by the arm, as nicely as he could, before 'porting back to Rose et al.
