"Alright. Let me know if you want to stop." He shifted a bit, making sure he had a decent grip on her in case she did fall. He nodded back at her, keeping an eye out in case she was pushing herself too hard.

^^!!! "Really?" Oh man, that would be so cool. Eris would be like....eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!11!
Kat looked faintly relieved that he didn't attempt to question her further about it, because she was bound and determined to make it downstairs, even if it took her all night. Which it quite possibly would. "I'll be fine, promise." And then there were stairs. A hell of a lot of stairs. Kat hated stairs, quite a lot right now. Booo.

He nodded, taking her word on the matter. When they did get to the stairs, he took a step down first, getting steady so she could put most of her weight on him if she had to. He really didn't want to see them both go tumbling down the stairs.

o.o "That would be most wonderful! Thank you." HAWK SHOULD CALL HER GRASSHOPPER. Because that's what cool masters do. And Hawk was most def. a master shopper.
Kat put one hand on the railing, trying to look like she was doing this more herself, with less leaning on Assassin. Yeah, not so much, but damn it. Muttering darkly under her breath, she took a few steps quickly, before she had to stop, for fear of getting dizzy and falling. Very likely. "I am outlawing stairs. Forever. I despise them." Despise them all.

Assassin stopped with her and looked down. "You're almost there and you've been doing well so far." He gave her a faint grin. "And you have yet to make us fall down."

>.> Eris was awesome like that. "Well, I do not see why everybody else complains so much..." Probably because not everybody else had superhuman levels of stamina/patience.
Kat sighed, looking over at him, with a small smile and a shake of her head as she took another step. "You are infinitely patient. If I was you, I would have probably pushed me down the stairs already." Seriously.

"I have many years of practice with being patient." He gave her a slight shrug which he also used to help move her again. "Besides, it is worth it to help you."

"Evidently." Totally their loss, but Eris wasn't complaining, more shopping for her. ^^ "May we bring Lianne along next time?" Oh man, Lianne and Hawk on the same trip, Eris would potentially drown in a sea of clothes and shoes, but that was okay.
"Well...that's true, you have dealt with Hawk for a while..." Not that Hawk tested her patience all that often, but still. Kat scrunched up her nose, making a face, leaning a little less on the railing, a litle more on Assassin. The railing wasn't nice anyways. "Thanks. Really."

"Indeed. For many, many years." At least ten if he thought about it. He smirked at the look on her face and continued down the stairs, the going made a little easier when she started to lean on him more. "You're welcome, Kat."

"Oh...Well, she is better than me, so I do not think that will be a problem." ^^;; Aheh. Let's hope so.
Kat finally let go of the railing altogether with a somewhat defeated sigh, doing her best not to cling horribly to Assassin. "Three...two...one...touchdown." Finally the bottom of those fucking stairs. She had no idea how she would ever get back up, short of dragging herself, but she would cross that bridge when she came to it, right now she was just glad she made it down at all.

Assassin kept her steady once more and gave her a slight smile. "You made it." He said, glancing back up the stairs for a moment. "Where to now?"

._. "You do not know?" Snap, Eris totally thought Hawk knew where most of this was going. Apparently not.
"I dunno...Is it cold outside?" Kat really should have paid more attention when the window was opened, but oh well. Might as well ask.

"It is not too bad, though you might think it is worse because of your sickness." He looked over at the door before glancing back at her. "We can always try it and if you're too cold, come back inside."

Hawk's logic - 1, Assassin's-under-the-bed-space - zero. "Oh. Okay, that would work." ^^ Most excellently, in fact. Duh, people store stuff under beds, that had to be where all the other stuff went.
Kat nodded with a small grin, "Sounds like a plan to me." Total score, fresh air.
