The way to the classroom was unusual. It was very curvy. Stairs and turns everywhere. It could almost make you dizzy. The halls seemed to be never ending until they reached a flight of stairs. Rose groaned. "You must be shitting me." Kat laughed. She hated stairs, but she was in perfect shape so she was pretty much okay with this. "Oh dont be a pussy Rose." She started up the stairs as everyone else lagged behind her terribly. They all started up the stairs, not at all happy with them. Well, that is, everyone but Hawk. Issac blinked as he realized Hawk was missing. He paused, which made everyone else stop, and looked down at Hawk. Hawk stood at the bottom of the stairs, arms folded across her chest, glaring at Issac. He made a strange face and sighed. He shook his head at her and Hawk continued to glare. It seemed that they were having a silent argument that no one else would ever understand. He finally put his hands up in the air and walked back down the stairs. Hikari glanced at Michael who just put his hands up with the 'i dont know' expression. Assassin stopped at the bottom of the stairs and crouched for a moment. This gave Hawk ample opportunity to leap onto his back. He grumbled as he started back up the stairs to catch up with everyone else. This wouldnt be too hard seeing as everyone was laughing at him. "Looks like someone is whiiiiipped." Steven grinned and pretended to crack a whip as he made the noise to go with it. Issac shot him a nasty glare and hooked his foot around Stevens ankle. Stevens smug look was soon wiped right off his face as he toppled over and slid down a few stairs on his ass. Issac grinned at him and walked past, passing everyone else in the process. "You're such a dumbass." Hikari muttered as she walked past him with Michael. Armok shook his head as he followed them. "A disgrace to the male race." Steven blew his hair out of his eyes and pushed himself up, muttering something about getting Issac back. After about five or ten minutes of climbing, the group finally reached the top of the stairs. As they reached it, everyone just sat there for a few minutes. "I...hate...stairs..." Kat panted out. Rose shot her a look. She was actually one of the few standing up. "Oh dont be a pussy." Armok looked at the two girls and grinned. "Oh how the tables do turn." Both girls shot him a nasty look. "Dont think that Issacs the only one with super cool ninja - shove - your - fat - ass - down - the - stairs - powers, buddy." Armok put his hands in the air, a grin still on his lips. "Just stating the obvious, darling." Kat rolled her eyes. "Yeah. Whatever." Rose put her hand out and helped the girl up. Kat gratefully accepted Rose's hand and pulled herself up. "We should suggest an elevator." Rose said quietly. "You're damn right we should. That would be so much easier." Kat replied. "You know, dat would be an awesome idea if Issac wasnt afraida cramped places." Hawk piped up. Issac shot her a nasty look as well, very similar to the one he had given Steven only ten minutes earlier. "What?" Hawk asked. Issac scowled and dropped Hawk to stand on her own two feet and walked down the hall. "What did I do?" She asked and looked at Rose and Kat. The girls shrugged. After a few moments of silence, Rose decided to break it. She didnt like awkward silences. "So. Why is Issac scared of cramped places?" Hawk folded her arms and leaned back against the wall. "Well, I dont know actually. He always freaked out when I would make him go into da dressing rooms with me." She made a funny face before shrugging her shoulders. "Boys are weird." Kat nodded her agreement and Rose shrugged. Hikari and Michael had pulled themselves away from the group, leaning against a window. Hikari had her arms folded across her chest as she looked at the floor. She just wanted to get the day over with so she could go back to her room and handle a few of her issues. It would have to wait though and it was irritating. Michael watched her curiously, an odd look on his face. It was worry mixed with curiousity. "Are you feeling any better, Kari?" He inquired this quietly. he didnt want anyone else butting in right now. He wasnt about to spill of any of Hikari's secrets to anyone. He was more than happy that she had trusted them with him. He didnt want to fuck that up right now. Hikari looked up at him for a moment and nodded her head. She was still feeling like total shit, but talking to Michael helped her a lot. "I'm feeling a bit better. Thank you." She offered him a small smile. He took what he could get and gave her back a full one. "Anytime you need to talk, you know I'm here." She nodded at his offer and went to say something before getting interupted by a new voice. "You're all late!" A voice exclaimed for the doorway. Everyone in the hall looked up to see a tall, lean man with white bangs brushed over his crystal blue eyes. He glared at the students who stood in the hall. "Get into the classroom." He had a thick Norse accent as he stepped out of the way. Armok folded his arms and looked at the man. "And why should I give you the pleasure of my obedience?" He asked cooly. The man narrowed his eyes at Armok. "You must be Mister Everhate, am I correct?" He didnt wait for a response as he continued. "From Ireland. Got kicked out of your school for 'disturbances'. Very violent, politically intelligent, but very dim in every other subject." Armok curled his lip into a snarl as he finished. "Get in the classroom you little snot or you will find yourself in a much worse position than before." Armok, quite reluctantly, strode into the classroom, a scowl on lips. Everyone else was already seated at their desks as Armok basically stomped into the room. The man who had summoned them in there slammed the door behind him and walked to the front of the classroom. He leaned on his own desk, using his palms to help him stand as the entire class [just the sc, really] stared back at him, looking quite pissed. With a smug grin on his face, he introduced himself. "My name is Mr. Alvia." He said this loud enough for the entire room to hear and echo. He waited a few moments before speaking again. "Welcome to my class." He pushed himself up. "In this class we will be exploring the ideas of the supernatural -" He was cut off as the class erupted into fits of laugher. No one believed him. "Supernatural? Yeah. Okay. When pigs fly." Rose said as she leaned back into her seat. "Miss Christoper!" the class became very silent. Mr. Alvia walked around the desk and strode down the rows of desks to stop at hers. He knocked her boot-clad feet off the desk and grabbed her roughly by the chin. "Do not make a mockery of my classroom or its subject. Or there will be dire consequences. Do I make myself clear?" Rose growled and spit in his face. He raised his hand to strike her, but found that he couldnt move his hand moments later. He turned his head to look back and let out a frustrated sigh as he saw it was one of his students. "Do not touch her." Armok gripped the instructors wrist tightly and glared at him. The teacher yanked his hand away, causing Armok to let out a quiet growl as he felt a sharp pain in his hand. Was that a spark he saw? No way. Mr. Alvia released Rose's face and stood up straight, before turning and walking back to the front of the class. "Detention. Both of you. See me after class." Rose glared at the back of the teachers head before her attention was directed to Armok who took the empty seat beside her. He folded his arms and leaned back in his seat and offered Rose a small smile. She returned it and mouthed a silent 'thank you'. For once, she would give him credit for helping her. Even though she truly didnt want to. Rose hated depending on other people. She looked back to the front soon enough as the class started up again. Mr. Alvia began lecturing on other dimensions and such. This just made others raise eyebrows at him and snicker quietly. No one else got detention the entire period. It was strange considering how Steven was pulling practical jokes left and right. Something was up and it didnt look at all good at this point. Class ended quickly as the bell rang sharply. The entire class stood besides Rose and Armok. Rose waved goodbye to her friends as did Armok before the room was left in silence as the door closed. Mr. Alvia walked down the aisle to stand in front of the two. "What you pulled in my classroom today is unacceptable." Armok snorted as he spoke. "Hitting a student is worse than anything she did." He nodded his head at Rose. "But you must understand, Mr. Everhate. Do not touch me. And do not disrespect me. Or you will pay the price. Punishment is done a lot differently at this academy and you will do well to respect the authorative figures here. No one cares about your stupid teenage rebellions." He growled out and glared at the two students sitting in front of him. "And if we dont?" Rose looked up from staring at the desk. "You will do as you are told Ms. Christopher." He answered quickly. "We dont have to do a damn thing you tell us to." Armok slid out of his seat. "In fact, we shouldnt even have to be here right now." He pulled his trench coat off of the back of his chair and slipped it on. "Come on Rose." Rose followed suit and stood up, watching Mr. Alvia. He didnt seem at all angered. In fact, he had a very odd grin on his features. As Armok and Rose neared the door, Mr. Alvia slammed his foot down, sending a pulse of white energy across the floor, knocking Rose and Armok off their feet and slamming the door as well. Rose looked shocked. Armok turned his head quickly and glared at him. "What the hell was -" He wasnt able to finish his sentence before Mr. Alvia had appeared behind them and slammed a needle into Armoks neck. Sedatives. The clear liquid slid into his system. The last thing Armok saw was a blurry version of Rose being yanked off her feet and hauled away before he was taken the same way. ----- sorry for the shortness of the chapter. its been awhile since i've work on this one. but, i promise the next will be longer.

The rest of the group had gotten a few paces down the stairs before hearing the door slam and a yell from inside the classroom. Issac was the first to stop which caused everyone else to halt in their motions. Hawk looked over at Issac, looking almost worried. "Maybe we should go check dat out?" She asked. Issac stood completely still to listen for anything else, but couldnt pick up any other disturbances. "I think they're alright." Steven said, studying the two. Issac nodded, still a bit unsure, before trekking down the stairs once more. Hikari, Kat and Michael seemed to follow a bit more reluctantly. Kat most definitely knew something was up. She didnt know why but she could sense it. Same with Hikari and AFR. But, Issac seemed to be the most level headed out of the group, and the most intelligent, so they were going off his instincts for the moment. "You really think they're okay?" Hikari asked Michael as they walked. He nodded. "They should be." The group continued down the stairs and parted for their next classes. Sitting through fifth period was hell for everyone. It was like a waiting game. The fact that they were all sitting in different classes didnt change the fact that they were all glancing towards the door to see if Rose or Armok would enter. What the hell was taking so long. No one besides Kat really knew if the two had shown to class. Kat knew Rose and Armok had fifth period with her. She had hijacked their schedules to make damn sure that Rose had had a class with her. Plus, she wanted to make sure Armok was going to the same class and not stalking them cause she would have to yell at him if he was. But that was besides the point right now. Fifth period was coming to a close and there was still no sign of Armok or Rose. The teacher didnt even seem all that worried when Kat had told him what had happened. He just nodded his head and said that they would be fine before going back to the lesson. Kat sighed in frustration and stood as the bell to go to the next class rang. She stepped out of her fifth to see Hikari and Michael waiting for her. "Where are they?" Hikari asked, arms folded over her chest. She looked slightly impatient and pissy. Nothing out of the usual really. Kat shrugged. "I honestly have no idea. Rose and Armok didnt show up to class." She responded and glanced at Michael who was watching the hallway. He turned his head after a moment to look at the two girls in front of him. "What about the teacher? Did he have anything to add?" Kat shook her head. "Nothing. He just told me they were fine." Michael rose an eyebrow curiously. Before he could respond Hikari spoke. "Something is most definitely wrong with this whole thing. He said to stay after class to talk. He didnt say he would be keeping themf or the rest of the day." She rolled her shoulders and looked to the stairs up to Mr. Alvia's room. "Should we check up there?" Kat asked. Before she could get a response, the late bell rang. "Fucking dammit." She cursed. Hikari sighed. "That would be our answer." She started down the hall. "We'll have to wait." Michael said as he followed. Kat nodded before following the two. - - - - - - - - - Fuzzy. Everything was fuzzy. And warm. It was almost...peaceful. But there was something wrong. Terribly wrong. It wasnt really peaceful. It was completely fake. Too warm. It wasnt real. This was all confirmed by the horrible scream that echoed in the room. This woke him up quickly. It shot him straight back to the harsh reality. The room was cold and damp. The warmth left his body quickly as his eyes snapped open. Armok tried to move, but found he couldnt. He was chained. Chained? Chained to what? He growled quietly and tugged, looking around a bit. He found quickly that he was chained to a solid stone wall behind him. It was almost a dungeon like setting. But, werent they just at the school? What was going on? Oh yes. Mr. Alvia had done something. What the hell was that white burst of light in the classroom and where was that scream coming from? At least one of his questions was answered when the scream shot through the cold, stone room. Armoks eyes drifted lazily across the stone after catching on some dark liquid near his feet. Blood. His eyes widened slightly, following the trail of blood up to something that was almost stark white against the dark room. Pale limbs. A bit bloody. His eyes flicked up to see Rose chained, looking somewhat sedated as well. She breathed heavily before crying out again as the crack of a whip could be heard. Her hands clutched the cold metal chains tightly. They were holding her up more than her own legs were at this point. She was beaten badly. The back of her school uniform was tattered due to the whip and she had some odd amount of injection marks on her elbows and neck. There were a few on her wrists as well. She looked different. Something was most definitely different about her. Armok couldnt make the connection just yet as they locked gazes. Tears streamed from her eyes. Her eyes...wait. They were red. Crimson red. "What the hell is going on?" He roared as he pulled against the chains again. Mr. Alvia stopped mid - whipping motion and let the whip fall limp in his hand for a moment. Rose let out a quiet sigh of relief when she realized the whip wasnt going to hit her again for a few moments. She dropped to her knees, letting her wrists dangle above her head as Mr. Alvia spoke. "Well well well. A bit late to the party arent you Mr. Everhate?" He grinned darkly at the much younger boy. Armok continued to glare back at him. "Whats going on you ask?" He dropped the whip and stepped around Rose, taking small strides towards Armok, walking slowly as he clasped his hands behind his back. A thoughtful look on his features. "Why Mr. Everhate, I'm playing a game." He looked up at the boy, his crystal blue eyes glinting dangerously in the dim light of the room. Armok growled. "A game?" he asked. "What kind of game do you think this is?" He gestured towards Rose who looked as if she was going to pass out at any given moment from blood loss. Mr. Alvia laughed. "My dear boy, its a game we like to play here at Darkmoor Academy. The teachers are trying to create the perfect soldier." Armok stared at him. "You see," Mr. Alvia started as he stopped in front of Armok. "There have been rumors over the years of the supernatural. And how to unleash those powers in regular humans. Or, humans who show potential." Rose groaned before Mr. Alvia turned to walk back towards her quickly. Armok saw this and yanked on the chains again. They strained against the wall with a horrid grating noise. He was pulling the chains out. "Don't touch her!" He roared. Rose tried to push herself back but it didnt work all that well. Mr. Alvia turned his head to look at Armok as he stopped at Rose. He crouched down in front of her with a small grin as he turned her head to look at Armok, putting a finger next to her eyes. "You see, everyone has something inside of them waiting to be released Mr. Everhate. Miss Christopher here has demonic blood." Armok was silenced as he heard this. "You do as well. That was why you were my first choices." Mr. Alvia pointed out Rose's red eyes. "You see, all we had to do was pull it out of her. Through tortorous pain and a few...shots." The shots were disgusting amounts of drugs. "Only a true demon could handle this much without dying." He said this as he pulled Rose's arm out to show Armok the track marks. Armok had yet to notice that he had the same marks on his own arms. He couldnt see himself at the moment, but he looked utterly terrifying. Rose wouldnt look at him fully. That last look was ended quickly as she ducked her head to look at the ground. "We hopped Miss Christopher up on heroin. And it pulled it out of her." Armok pulled again, the chains pulling more out of the wall. Mr. Alvia failed to notice this. The shadows in the room seemed to shift. Armok picked up this quickly. He knew it was him. It felt...right. He felt at home. And this is when the horror started. He laughed darkly as he finally pulled the chains fully out of the fall. Mr. Alvia took a step back, his eyes widening slightly. Armok most definitely had the advantage in the room. Shadows crept up his arms slowly, dripping off like wicked hellfire. "You've made a dire mistake, Mr. Alvia." He spoke with a flat, almost bone chilling tone. Mr. Alvia wasnt expecting something this strong to be unleashed so quickly, so it would explain the horrified look on his face. "Now Mr. Everhate, be rational." He took a step back as Armok moved foward, the chains sliding along the ground behind him. "Be rational?" He laughed as he finished his question. He watched with almost sick glee as shadows slid up Mr. Alvia's arms and wrapped around his neck, slowly choking him. "I am." And with that, he clenched his fist, hearing a sick snapping noise as Mr. Alvia went limp. His grin turned into a dark scowl before he directed his attention to Rose. She sat, curled against the wall, her red curls matted to the side of her face. The chains had rubbed her wrists somewhat raw. He frowned, his looks softening quickly as he stepped towards her. She flinched and he sighed. "Come on. Lets get you out of here, hm?" He broke her shackles quickly and picked her up, leaving the dungeon-esque room quickly through the shadows. Rose clung to him slightly. Her body was numb, but it all hurt at the same time. It was frightening for her not to have any control over her body. She could feel the changes taking place. Her DNA modifying itself. It was painful. This would explain the short whimpers and gasps that Armok was hearing as he walked through the empty halls. He stopped outside a classroom and looked in through the window with a side glance. Inside was the group who were allotted to leave Mr. Alvias classroom. They looked to the door. Kats jaw hit the desk. She leaped out of her chair and bolted for the door. The others soon followed as Armok started down the hall. Kat caught up to him quickly along with the others. "What happened?!" Kat shouted, trying to get a good look at Rose. "I'll tell you when we get to her room." He nodded down at Rose who had long passed out at this point. Hawk followed Armok on his right to peer at Rose. "She needs some bandagin' to be done." She looked at Rose's arms. "I have medical training. I can help, Armok. Same with Issac back dere." She nodded her head back to Issac who followed close behind Hawk. Armok nodded. "When we get to her room." He repeated himself as they walked up the steps to the dorms. It wouldnt be long until they reached the room. Armok kicked open the door. Rose was currently sharing a room with Kat. Armok laid her down on the bed and covered her up with her blanket as everyone found a place to sit. He turned around and nodded to Hawk who jumped up and started to go over Rose's wounds like a pro as Armok spoke. "The Academy is trying to create the perfect soldier. And this-" He nodded to Rose's wounds and damage. "is there way of accomplishing it." Hikari narrowed her eyes at Rose's wounds, her lilac eyes flicking back to Armok. "By beating the hell out of the students. What good does that do?" She asked curtly. Armok moved his hand in the shadows in the room shifted and hissed. Hikari about jumped out of her skin seeing it. "What the hell was that?!" She yelled, scooting closer to Michael who looked almost as freaked out as she did. "That, my dear Hikari, would be the good it does." She looked at him with wide eyes. "They're trying to shift our DNA to what it should be. To make us into creatures that havent seen this world in many many centuries." Michael looked at Armok with a frown. "Like what?" Armok scowled and opened his eyes as he sat down. They were black with crimson flecks. "Demons."

The room went dead silent after Armok spoke. Demons? He couldnt be serious. There was no way in Hell that that was even possible. Never. But...they had their doubts at this point. Just by looking at both Armok and Rose. These allegations could be confirmed. Nothing human could have eyes that looked like mister Armok Everhate's right now. But...this whole situation had to be right out of a story book. Nothing like this had ever happened. Well...outside of the school. Students were disappearing every day. The staff would make up some lame excuse about where they had disappeared to. The usual excuse was family or personal issues. Well, they were half right. The students "personal issue" was usually their untimely death. No one ever knew fully what happened besides the teachers who were in on the whole experiment. This meant the entire Darkmoor Academy staff. The whole academy was against them. They were stuck in the middle of nowhere way too far from home to get any help. Did their parents know about what was going on? They wouldnt subject their kids to that, would they? Who knew.
"You can't be serious." Steven spoke out first, always the one to break the silence and start the commotion. Armoks eyes flicked quickly over to Steven. "Does it look like I'm kidding?" Armok narrowed his eyes at the smaller boy. Steven laughed, almost hysterically. "Demons? There's no way, Armok." He stood up and walked over to Rose. "This is all some prank. Rose is going to jump up any second now and scare the hell out of all of us." He said. He pushed Hawk out of the way roughly "Hey!" She shouted. "Dats not very nice!" Steven rolled his eyes. "Oh can it!" He said rudely. Hawk looked genuinely hurt. "You dont hafta be so mean." She muttered. "Someone has to snap you out your dream world prin-" He didnt get to finish his sentence as Issac grabbed him roughly by the arm and had a knife to his throat from behind. The room went silent once again as Issac spoke in a soft monotone. "Apologize to Lady Hawk." His voice had an eerie echo to it as it bounced off the walls of the room. Steven snorted, psuedo-arrogance trying to mask his fear. "I'm not going to-" Issac pressed the knife lightly against Steven's pale flesh, causing a red mark to appear.
Steven could feel the blood pushing against his hot skin, trying to escape to release the pressure. He swallowed hard. "S-Sorry Hawk." Issac pushed down just a little harder. "Sorry for what?" He asked quietly. "Sorry for being so mean to you." Steven said quickly, his words almost flying together. Issac smiled, smugly almost, and removed the knife, stepping away. "Good boy." He turned and offered Hawk a small smile and offered his hand as well. "I apologize for my display, Lady Hawk." She smiled happily and took his hand, jumping up and hugging him. "Thank you Issac." He nodded his 'your welcome' and took his seat as Hawk took her place next to Rose once more. Kat was sitting on the edge of the bed with a frown on her lips. "You never explained fully what happened to Rose." Rose and Kat were total best friends. They spent a lot of their time together and had a lot of classes together. So it was only natural that they get along so well. Plus, they would have to if they were going to share a room. It would pretty much suck if they hated each other and had to share a room.
Sighing quietly, Armok turned his head to look back at Kat. "Mr. Alvia took us both under ground I believe." He turned fully and narrowed his eyes as he looked over Rose's wounds from afar. "I only know what happened to her as far as I saw and what was told to me by Alvia." He shifted on his feet. "The track marks on her arms are from inhumane doses of heroin. She was chained up and whipped, that would explain the marks on her back and wrists. And that is all of what I know. He said something about torture, but not enough for me to make any other speculations." Hawk made a curious face and gestured for Kat to pull Rose up. She did so as Hawk held her hand out for Issac. He blinked a few times and gave her a questioning look. "Knife, silly." He looked somewhat surprised, but handed over one of his knives. It was a completely different knife from the one he had used to get Steven to apologize. This only rose the question of how many he had on his persons. Probably the same amount he took off in the airport. It wouldnt be surprising. Hawk did get the man to send them to the school. Issac probably got them as soon as they arrived.
Hawk took the knife from Issac as he handed it over and cut open the back of Rose's school uniform. Or, really, what was left of it. It was tattered from the whipping she had received but not enough as to where Hawk could make a full observation. Kat held the front of Rose's shirt up as Hawk examined her back with an almost pale face. She wrinkled her nose in disgust at the wounds. Rose had close to twenty five or thirty gashes from the whip across her back. The red looked brighter against her pale skin. Hawk looked over. "We need Bactine and bandages so I can clean her wounds." Kat peered over Rose's shoulder to look at the whip marks and winced. Armok frowned from where he stood. "How bad is it?" He didnt have a chance to look at Rose's wounds himself before they left. Hawk and Kat, with a nice team effort, moved Rose so her back was facing the others. "Oh my God..." Hikari whispered before looking at Michael with wide eyes. He was intently studying Rose's back. "What human being, and I use that term loosely, would do this?" He asked quietly.
"I do not believe that Alvia was anything close to human." Issac spoke as he stood. "I will get the bandages. I believe I have some in my room." This caused everyone to look at him with curious glances. He blinked. "Is it not normal to be prepared?" He asked. "Oh no! Of course its completely normal to carry around knives and bandages!" Steven said with a smart ass tone in his voice. Issac glared at the boy who quickly looked down a the floor. Armok grinned slightly. "Pansy ass." Steven glared at Armok who rose his hands before turning his attention back to Hawk. Issac glanced at the group once more before heading for the door. He stepped outside quickly and started down the hall, going at a quick pace. His normal pace. He usually walked much slower for Hawk. Issac didnt get too far down the hall before he heard voices. Hushed tones. He frowned and slowed his pace before coming to an eventual stop at the corner next to a classroom. He leaned back against the wall and listened to the people as they spoke. Normally, he wouldnt have stopped, but having heard the word 'experiment', his curiousity was invoked.
"What?!" a female voice exclaimed. "Dead. He was dead." A smooth male one repeated. "What do you mean dead?" The female asked again. The man sighed quietly. "He had taken the Christopher girl and the Everhate boy down to the lab. When we went down there to check on him, he was dead." Pacing could be heard from inside the room. Issac rose an eyebrow. Lab? What lab? He pushed the thoughts from his head as he listened in again. He pushed himself closer to the open door, his body still pressed up against the wall. "And the kids?" The woman asked now, the pacing stopping. The man coughed and there was an unsettling silence in the room. Issac craned closer. "The kids, Mr. Diaron?" She asked again. Mr. Diaron grumbled. "They were gone." "GONE?!" the woman yelled. Something smashed in the room and yelling in a foreign language could be heard. Issac scrunched up his nose in confusion. He couldnt tell exactly what they were saying. The language was, excuse the pun, quite foreign to him. "Check the two's rooms." Mr. Diaron nodded and walked to the door. He stepped outside. Issac was already gone.
Meanwhile, back in the room, everyone was waiting quite impatiently. Rose had become slightly responsive, but was for the most part, still out of it. Armok was now sitting on the edge of the bed, watching her with a frown. "How the hell did she survive all that heroin?" Hikari asked, breaking the silence once more. Armoks eyes didnt move from Rose. "I told you exactly what he told me, Moriyaku." He said the name with a hint of disdain. Michael sighed quietly from his spot in the room. "Come on, bro. You honestly believe that bull that Alvia spewed?" Armoks eyes flicked up from Rose. "And you don't?" His crimson, gold, and obsidian eyes connected with Michaels. "Steven had a point, Armok. Theres no way this is happening. Its...real life. this isnt a video game." Michael shifted in his seat as he spoke. Armok growled and stood up. "How else would she survive that much heroin, Severs? Really? How else would I survive it?" He held out his elbows. He had the same amount of, if not more, track marks as Rose did. "It was no coincidence. Something saved me. And something saved her. And it wasnt god." He narrowed his eyes as Michael rolled his. "It still hasnt even been proven that Rose has any sort of anything different with her."
Armok held his glare directed at Michael. "You didnt see her down there. Everythings different. Her eyes, her body. Something changed." Everything changed. Michael sighed. "You're right. I didnt see her down there. We dont even know if there is a down there. What if-" Michael was cut off as Issac came barrelling through the door. Everyone jumped to their feet. "Issac wha-" Hawk experienced the same cut off as Issac spoke. "We have to go." He said as he gathered up his coat which he had laid on the back of his seat earlier. "What? Why?" Hikari asked as she watched him. "They're coming. They're looking for Rose and Armok." Issac picked up Hawks coat now. He tossed her her heels which she had taken off as well. "Is she okay to move?" He asked Hawk, nodding towards Rose. Hawk nodded her head. "Yeah but whats going on? Who's coming?" Issac sighed as Hawk asked the questions now. "The teaching staff. Armok isnt lying. Something is obviously wrong and we have to get out of here. They'll be here any minute." Everyone went into motion to get their things and to get out of the room. "Guys?" Steven chimed in. He was ignored. "Guys?" He tried again. Ignored again. "Guys!"
Everyone stopped as he yelled. All eyes were on him as he spoke. "Where's Kat?" Silence befell the room again. No one had noticed that Kat was gone. Not a single person. She had left a few minutes after Issac had. Well, ten minutes to be precise. He had been taking too long, so she volunteered to go find him. Though, no one really noticed. And now no one knew where she was. Issac sighed, feeling responsible. He was about to volunteer to go find her before a harsh knock hit the wooden door to Rose and Kat's room. Issac cursed quietly under his breath and locked the door quickly before turning his head to look around the room. He spotted a window. He motioned to it quickly before everyones eyes followed his. Armok gathered up Rose as Hawk fixed the bed. The room was fixed silently before everyone started going out the window. Issac was going to find Kat. He was bound and determined. He had developed quite the liking to the girl even if he wasnt willing to admit it. As the last person got out the window, Issac unlocked the door before opening it. He clicked it on again as he stepped outside, the door locking behind him.
The group of teachers looked down at him curiously, not sure how to react to someone stepping out. They wouldnt have time to anyways. Issac bolted down the hall. The teachers yelled and tried to follow him. Issac was a brilliant tracker. Years of living in a small village in South America helped this. He was picking up Kats route quickly. Towards the nurses room. He didnt notice that the teachers had stopped following him though. They knew exactly where he was headed and stopped. When Issac did manage to notice this, he was too caught up in getting into the nurses room to pay attention. As soon as he stepped inside he smelled the blood. Issac covered his nose and stepped back. The smell was overwhelming. Mr. Diaron stepped out from behind the nurses curtain that was usually to hide sick patients who were embarrassed. Kat was strapped to the bed, her knuckles jacked up. She was a bloody mess and looked like she had been crying. She had been worked on without sedatives or meds. There was a bloody rag in her mouth serving as a gag. "Welcome Issac. We've been expecting you."

Issac stared at Kat with wide eyes. This was totally out of character for him. To show any sort of shock like this. But really, who wouldnt make at least that face when coming in upon the scene that he did. There was blood all over the floors and the bed that Kat was strapped to. She pulled against her restraints with a grimace but it was to no avail. Mr. Diaron chuckled darkly and slinked across the room. Issac glared and took a step back. He had finally been able to tear his eyes away from Kat. "Is-sac! Don't you want to play with me?" Issac held his glare and continued to take steps back as the man got closer. "No. No I would not like to play with you." What else could he say? Well, there was always the silent option, but hey, if we're going a little out of character here, why not do it the right way, hm? Issac watched Mr. Diaron carefully as he stopped walking towards him. He turned his head to look back at Kat. "You have come to spoil my fun then, hm?" He asked, his eyes sliding back over to Issac. "Well I cant have you doing that. You see, I must win this game." Issac wrinkled his nose. "Game?" Mr. Diaron laughed quietly, the echo of the room making it sound only eerier. "The perfect soldier of course. I'm sure your little friend has told you about this."
"Armok was right then..." He muttered. Mr. Diaron laughed again which caused Issac to snap his attention back to the man. "So they are still around. Well, were." He corrected himself. Issac narrowed his eyes. "Were? What do you mean 'were'?" He asked. He was slowly making his way towards Kat who was getting paler by the second. All the bloodloss was getting to her. "And I thought you were the intelligent one." Mr. Diaron let out an exasperated sigh. "You should know that security is searching every corner of this school for your friends." Mr. Diaron moved his own way back towards Kat. This move cancelled Issacs initial plan. "Here at Darkmoor Academy, we are playing a game. A game to create the perfect soldier. We're making the students stronger, better, faster-" He cut himself off with his own fit of giggles. "Excuse my movie reference, will you?" He didnt give Issac a chance to respond before he started on his spiel again. "We're enhancing their abilities. Like young Katherine here." He gestured to Kat who squirmed again as he pulled a needle off the tray next to her bed. "We have just one final touch to her transformation." And before Issac could fully react, he slid the needle into Kats skin, causing the girl to scream once the liquid hit her blood stream.
Issac jumped right into action after the scream. He picked up a chair and flung it across the room at Mr. Diaron before ducking any other throws back at him. He moved quickly across the room as Mr. Diaron fell under the chair. The older man growled and swung a fist at the boy. Issac caught the fist and twisted Mr. Diarons arm. He didnt make a noise, but instead threw an odd looking energy at the boy. Issacs eyes widened slightly, not able to dodge it having kept the hold on Mr. Diarons arm. Issac was thrown across the room into a wall. A sickening crack echoed through out the room as blood trickled down from the back of Issacs head. He was so focused on getting to Mr. Diaron that he himself didnt notice the needle in his arm. He moved forward again and leaped over Kats bed, pulling a scalpel up and slashing at the man. He hadnt thought to grab at his own knives yet. Instead, he created a furious attack, slicing and slashing in the most complex moves one could think of. Mr. Diaron was not prepared for this. Issac didnt even realize he was doing it either. Could it be the needle enhanced his abilities. No, they werent stereroids, but it was something to that effect that was causing Issac to become much stronger than normal. Much faster than normal.
This was all proven as Issac grabbed Mr. Diaron by his shirt and flung him across the room with ease, sending two knives after him. The man was pinned to the wall, the knives having gone easily through his shoulders and the bones with it. The man cried out and struggled against his bindings as they were. Issac only smirked at him before turning his attention to Kat. He looked at her. She was different. Terribly different. Was this what Armok was describing. No. Kats was much more obvious. Especially her eyes. They were...cat like. What the...What the hell?! He undid her bindings quickly and pulling the rag out of her mouth. He had only noticed the eyes so far, but when he wrapped his arms around her to pull her up, he noticed the other changes. Ears...Tail...Claws... What did that man do to her? He didnt have time to ask as Mr. Diaron started to get free of his holdings. Issac held Kat close to his chest and ran out of the room as fast as possible. He needed to get her away from here. He himself needed to get away from there. A quiet voice broke into his mental barrier. outside. the greenhouse. hatch covered in dirt. Issac didnt know what it was, but he was going for it.
Reaching the hatch outside of the green house was no easy task. He had to carry Kat. And with her moving so quickly, her body still changing from the chemicals introduced to her blood stream, she was clawing Issac terribly. He was constantly stopping to tear off bits of clothing to supress the bleeding so they wouldnt be followed. Once he reached the hatch, he knew that was what he was looking for. Well, the dirt patch. He kicked the dirt away and slammed his foot down on the wooden hatch and stepped back. It was opened for him almost immediately. He looked down to see Steven, beckoning him in before moving out of view. Issac shrugged and jumped in, landing almost seconds later. It wasnt that far underground. There were stairs that lead farther down. Issac followed Steven silently until he was spoken to. "So where was she? What happened?" Steven glanced over his shoulder at the two. Kat was squirming and making odd noises. Cause, guess what? Kat didnt whimper. She was too cool for that. Issac sighed quietly. "Armok was right. He was very right, Steven." Steven sighed as well. "Lovely."
The two reached the bottom of the stairs in record time. Everyone was sitting in an almost living room esque room. There were couches and chairs all around. Issac rose an eyebrow. Armok sighed. "The girls apparently were holding out on us for hiding spots." Rose was awake now, but still looked like hell as she leaned against Armok. She was no longer denying any of his help. She actually looked to be somewhat fond of him now xD "We found it a day after we got here. Hawk decorated. Looks nice, huh?" She asked quietly, more mumbling then anything. Her eyes were closed. Issac made a strange face as she spoke. "You." Rose moved her head some and looked up at him, opening her eyes to show the crimson color they had taken on. "Me, what?" Issac shifted with Kat in his arms still. "You...How did you do that?" Rose now looked confused. "Do what?" Issac frowned. "You spoke to me. In my head." Everyone in the room stared at Issac. "Dude, are you supposed to take meds that we havent been told about?" Steven asked from behind him. Issac shook his head. "No. I could swear I heard her. Thats how I found you all." Armok looked at Rose for a moment. "Maybe that was what she gained from all that torture." Rose curled up someone. "Maybe."
Everything went into motion quickly as a space was cleared on a bed for Kat. Hawk was checking everything she could think of. She quickly bandaged up Kats torn hands and dug around in a bag she had. "We raided da nurses storage room. Well, Armok did." She pulled out some painkillers and crushed them up with the palm of her hand, slipping them into a water bottle before squirting that into Kats mouth. She gagged on the taste, but swallowed it with a quiet noise of disapproval. "Yeah yeah. get used to it." She knew they tasted bad. Damn was she could with this healing stuff. "Thank you Hawk for doing all of this today." Issac said quietly. She nodded. "Your totally welcome, Issac!" Hawk was happy to help. She liked feeling useful <3 Plus, she also liked helping people so this was totally her forte. Hint hint. Anyways. Hawk kept a close watch on Kat as everyone began to ask Issac questions. Everyone wanted to know what happened and who did it. Armok suggest that it was Mr. Alvia, but Issac told him that it couldnt be. There was no way. He looked completely different. He didnt quite know who the man was. "The woman said his name was Mr. Diaron."
Everyone in the room was drawing blanks so they moved from the guy to what had happened. Issac explained in full detail what he had seen in as few words as he possibly could. The boy didnt like talking that was for sure. "Daaaang Issac. You kicked his ass." Hawk said with a grin. Issac nodded. "Yes. I did." He was actually quite proud of himself even though he didnt express it. He was a bit estranged by the fact that he did so well though. Not like he doubted himself or he was lacking in the muscle or fighting area. But he didnt expect it to go that quickly. He didnt know where that strength came from. Well, until he found himself rubbing his arm. He hadnt even noticed he'd been doing it the entire time until Hikari had pointed it out. "Oh god. Dont tell me they gave you heroin too." She said. Hawk giggled. "A high Issac would be funny." Issac blinked and glanced down at his arm. "He's not high." Michael said as he watched Issac inspect his arm. "I most definitely am not." But what was it? It had to be some type of enhancements. How he didnt catch the needle going in was anybody's guess. But he couldnt focus on that right now. Everyone was beginning to get tired. Even Kat had drifted off.
"Its not safe to go back inside the school." Armok said as Hawk whined about being tired and she wanted to sleep. "Well, then, we'll have to sleep out here." Michael said. Hikari looked up. "All in favor of staying here?" She asked. Everyone chanted aye together and it was settled. They would be staying in their secret hide out for the time being. The group started planning out their sleeping arrangements. Gender wasnt an issue at this moment. No one really gave a damn considering how tired they all were. Rose had found herself curled up next to Armok, being a bit too freaked to sleep by anyone else. Hawk had made herself a little bed next to Kat, leaving Issac to lean back against the bed, half asleep as he kept somewhat of a watch. No matter how tired he was, Hawk and Kat came first at this point. Steven had hidden himself away as Michael waved goodnight to Hikari. She smiled at him and waited for him to drift off to sleep himself before she slowly and silently crept away. She found herself outside fast, sitting outside of the hatch, watching the sky. It was peaceful. For the moment.
The moment ended when she heard a rustling noise. Hikari narrowed her eyes and pushed herself to her feet. "Who's there?" She asked, her eyes scanning the darkness to find whomever or whatever was moving through the woods. She was given no answer just yet. "Answer me!" Her voice raised slightly. There was a small quiver of fear in there. "Hello?" She asked. Nothing. But then...there was a laugh. A shiver ran down Hikari's spine. She cursed quietly in Japanese. She was starting to over exaggerate things in her own mind. Paranoia began to creep up on her. Just like the figure who moved silently behind her. A twig snapped under its feet, causing Hikari to whirl around. Before she could let out a scream, she was knocked over the head with a heavy object. She fell quickly, blood streaming from the wound into the grass and dirt. She was picked up and pulled away, no one the wiser. And the night became silent and peaceful once more.
