This is when Rose's evening frustrations got the best of her. An arm gloved with red energy shot down and grabbed Kat by her own arm and pulled her up. "We all know you have more fashion sense than that. What do you take us for? Idiots??" Rose was mentally and emotionally spent for the evening, so she would be prone to snapping.

Kat made a face as Rose's energy dragged her up against her will. "...I got cold!" Christ on a stick, she was hardly even trying. She tugged against Rose's energy, not quite liking the part where she was restrained in some way/shape/form. Of course, she never liked it, but she extra-didn't like it right now. "Rose, please...just put me down, and don't come any closer." Or, if she did want to come closer, then keep up with the energy thing, that would probably keep her from eating anybody.

R: c'mon guys!! >< we probably have a freakin' time limit or somethin'
<.< oh crap what if we do...o.O
-----
Assassin took a step and put a hand on Rose's shoulder. "Let her go." He added to Kat's pleas. He glanced back over at Kat for a moment before looking back at Rose. "Lord Robyn is correct. We do not know how long AFR has and he needs our help as soon as possible. I see no current threat from Kat or any danger to her. We have our goal set, let us hurry so we can get everyone to the medical bay."

"Whatever." Rose released Kat, resisting the urge to shove her almost. She hated being lied to. And it didn't help that her emotions were still jumping all over the god damn place. Rose turned, pulling her shoulder away from Assassin and walking out of the kitchen to the chinese eatery. She leaped over the counter and walked through the food court towards the door that had required the card in the first place.

Kat winced, feeling the frustration in Rose's reply. Honestly, she would feel the exact same way if the roles were reversed, but she was almost beyond desperate to keep this a total secret, because for some reason, everybody finding out she was actually undead terrified her. "...Thank you." Her thanks was aimed both at Rose for actually letting her go, and Assassin for convincing Rose to let her go. She adjusted her hideous sweater compulsively again, trying to pull it up to cover her neck along with the scarf, and make it lower, so she could hide as much of herself in it as possible. Kat was going to wait a good ten, maybe fifteen seconds after Assassin, Hawk and Robyn left before following after them.

<.< hmmm i still think we can get you a better sweater...<follows Robyn>

"Do not make me regret this, Kat." He told her simply. If something came out of the fact they let Kat go unchecked, he was certain that Rose would probably send him through a wall or something to that extent. He walked out of the battle area, following both Hawk and Robyn.

Assassin thought right. Rose was a bit bi-polar at the moment and would not hesitate to throw Assassin out the window. She didn't like being touched. She didn't like being lied to. She didn't like many things right now. In fact, the only reason Rose kept going was because she promised AFR she would fix this. She didn't break her promises. Rose folded her arms, already holding the keycard in her hand. She stopped at the door and waited for everyone to catch up.

"I hope I don't." Kat meant it, a whole hell of a lot. If she let her instincts get the better of herself and ended up doing something terrible, she would never be able to forgive herself. Kat waited the ten seconds she allotted herself, before slowly making her way over the counter, trailing far behind Assassin. <.< Rose might as well open the door, Kat was as caught up as she was gonna get.

Rose glanced over her shoulder at Kat, not feeling all that 'best friend'y right now. She slid the card through and listened for the doors click. Once it did, Rose opened it, her bad mood showing in this action as well when the door slammed against the wall when she pushed it open.

Kat offered an apologetic glance, which was pretty much the best she could do. v.V She'd make it up somehow later! Pinky swear.

R: o.O uh...hawk you go first <kinda scared of Rose now>
o.o uhm....ok...O.o <followed Rose>
-----
Assassin held the door open for both Hawk and Robyn and he followed them inside once they had both cleared him. He didn't bother trying to hold the door open for Kat. She wanted distance for the moment and as long as she didn't do anything crazy, he seemed fine giving it to her.

Rose stalked down the hall, her arms folded across her chest. She was muttering to herself incoherently and very angrily D:< ANGRY WHISPERS!

Kat slid her foot in the door right before it closed, pausing for a minute. She put her forehead against the wall next to the door, counting off the seconds underneath her breath. She felt like she was close to tears (although I have no idea if zombies can cry), just because she felt so...alienated from her friends. Of course, she had refused all their offers of help, but that was because she thought she would eat them! And she didn't think they could help. She didn't know why she thought that, because for some reason she didn't think this zombie thing was permanent (she'd be freaking the HELL out if somebody planted that idea in her head), but...that was just how her mind worked things out. After ten seconds, she slid through the door after everybody else, wrapping her arms around her stomach, which was so, so, so incredibly hungry, she didn't even know how she was thinking anymore. Sheer will power, apparently. v.v Sigh.

in the hall and when they got to the next floor all the main chains all lined up in a row... your Hot Topic, Hollister, Banana Republic, American Eagle, Claire's... ext... If you were AFR... where would you go?... Hot topic, Game Stop, Borders?... Hawk seemed like she was looking around with purpose... why doesn't she pick between the choices of Hot Topic, Game Stop, Pet World, Borders, A&Finch, or FYE!

Assassin followed Hawk on this one. He didn't really know AFR well enough to know what kind of stores he would be in.

Rose nodded her answer to Hawk's question. She had calmed down some. Yaaay.

<.< Kat was just gonna follow along. She would trust Hawk and her mall logic with her life (...although that was kind of void right now, but hey!), so yay. ^^

All of the geeky mall gamer zombies were doing what they did best... they played video games like mindless... well... you know... it seemed too easy... the geeks would get their ass kicked... they would find the body, then be done with it... The rather scrawny Zombie kept winning, while some fat ones kinda played a demo of Super Mario Galaxy for eternity... If I was a zombie... this would be me... this couldn't be it... could it... then a familiar figure was seen held up bya series of wires and such... AFR's body was held up rather crucafical on the wall... it seemed lifeless...

R: o.O woah
<covers her mouth> o.o AFR!!

Assassin glanced at AFR's body and looked around at the other zombies. It was odd to seem them so transfixed that they didn't notice them.
