<.< Everybody was tired. Because this maze was tiring. And long. And frustrating. Did I mention Kat was angsting right about now, for all of the aforementioned reasons, plus some? She was never even going to look at a maze in a puzzle book after this shit was finished, I tell you what.

AFR was in the crystal case area... looking over his fellow clans men... not far away from Rose. Meanwhile Candice couldn't take much of anything Kari said to heart because she wasn't immortal... she could die and leave her lonely forever. That Cave was one 360 degrees of emo corner. that's right... a circle of corner... deal ><...
AFR sat back next to Rose... he didn't say much... just wrapped his arm around her and kissed her gently. "Hello beautiful..."

Hikari was cooking some foodage for her and Candice as well as Rose. She still felt horrible...and wanted to make up for something that she knew she never could. "Baby Girl, could you get your dad for me?

Of course Rose didn't have any sort of mind left to say much of anything to him. She would normally would have responded, but not today. She was still too...out of it for now. She hadn't responded to anything anyone had said to her all day. She felt semi-bad for AFR. He was being very patient with her and not getting anything in return. Rose semi-flinched when he kissed her. She didn't realize it was him at first. Yeeeup. Damaged. WAY TO GO LUST D:<

AFR took it in stride... he always took it in stride... Candice looked at him...
Candice: "He didn't move from that cot all day... I doubt he'll come, but we will see..."
Candice went over to them... Rose looked deader then AFR... and AFR held her tight. When Candice walked up to them he was a bit protective... he looked at her sceptically.
Candice: "Hello to you too old man. ^^"
AFR: "I know why you are here... the answer is no... tell her it's going to take a long time before it will be ok to talk to her..."
Candice: "Um... she wants to talk to you..."
AFR:... "I know that... and it's not happening..."
Candice: "Go talk to your future daughter-in-law ><..."
AFR: "Candi.... it's not time yet..." He stroked Rose's shoulder... "Not until her spark is back... "

Rose didn't even look at Candice. She might as well be a statue. I blame Lust. Not Hikari. Her grip tightened around whatever the hell she was holding. I still haven't decided yet.

Candice crossed her arms and tapped her foot...
Candice: "Daddy! ><..." AFR stood...
AFR: "Stay here... guard her with your life..."
Candice: "Excuse me?"
AFR: "Don't give me jive ><... you know I am trusting you with a very important person to me..."
Candice grumbled and humphed
AFR moved to the kitchen area... Kari had soup... woopie...He didn't say anything and just sat across from her...

Hikari looked at him. "I didn't think you'd come up." She handed him a small plastic container of soup. "Cold or hot, it's still good. Try to get Rose to eat some. She'll need it." She placed a spoon on the container. "It won't be good for her to not eat." She turned, going back to dish out some soup for her and Candice. Kari bit at her lip.

Must I say she didn't move again? Seriously. It should just be assumed by now. After a few moments, Rose turned her head and looked up at Candice curiously. << She could seriously pull off the mental patient thing. She would totally fit in at the psych ward right now.

Candice tilted her head as well... "you act like you never seen a white girl before."
AFR took the bowl... "it'd be a miracle, but I will try..." He sighed... "There is no telling the extent of her damage right now... mentally or physically... " This wasn't helping either of them... he left quickly... before he said something he'd regret...

Hikari nodded, keeping her back turned to him. She also didn't want to say something she would regret later with everything else in the back of her mind. After he left, she put the two bowls on the table. Shifting, she groaned, rubbing one of her sides gently. God her ribs hurt.

Candice blinked... "Don't be hatin'..."
AFR came back with the bowl... "your dinner is ready..." Besides that AFR didn't say anything before sitting back down next to Rose...
Candice grumbled again... and stuck her nose to the air as she turned away.
AFR Had the container in his hand... it was hot, perhaps too hot... He would wait a few minutes... He kissed Rose again. "I love you, my beautiful Rose..."
Candice ascended up the stairs and sat at her place at the table... "It smells delightful, Dream Girl..." She smiled as she fought off a dry heave... She was getting morning sickness... joy...

AFR held her tight... "There is soup, Rose... you should try to eat something... get your strength up... you'll feel better faster... at least on a physical level."
Candice hiccuped... "Yeah... nothing out of the ordinary..." He vurped... oh god... she was gonna puke... she bolted to the bathroom... then the wretching began...
AFR opened the container... it was interesting... it was vegetable... with chicken... kinda looked spicy... maybe Japanese... "Can you eat a little for me?"
