She kissed the top of Candice's head as she held onto her. Candice got quiet... because sometimes even when Kari was around she was so far away. Her shadows seemed to have taken her attention a lot lately... "I know you are... but who could say what the future will bring with this war coming... that demon could put you in charge of everything and then where would that leave us? You think he would take no for an answer?"

Because Kat was REALLY bad at this. Like, massively so. But it's cool guys, she's getting there. Kinda. In her own little personalized fear space, she hadn't moved a whole lot. Her arms and legs were all cramped up, and hurt like a bitch, but there wasn't anywhere for her to go. She had been humming to herself for a little while, a random little ditty that was helping to keep her mind off of this, and focused somewhere else. Like how she was supposed to get OUT of this, if she didn't know what she was supposed to be doing to get out of it. But she was cranky, and kinda bored, and had stopped flinching quite a while ago, so I'd say she's almost good to go >.>

And just as suddenly as the whole thing started, Kat felt the world give another lurch, and the atmosphere change. She cracked one eye open, just barely, in case she was wrong. But she wasn't. Oh thank God. She rolled onto her knees, and then into a standing position, scrambling at her neck for a moment, before seizing the necklace she had been wearing and yanking it off like it was burning her. She looked at Hawk, then Robyn and Kaimu, "Are you guys okay?" She did a mental recount, glancing around the area they were in. "...Where's Isaac?" Ah Jesus.

Kat whirled around, taking in Hawk's explanation, Robyn's question (which she ignored), and Kaimu's statement all while glaring hard at the two Kari's, who were then one. "If I have to run through that fucking maze again, I swear to God..." She was pissed. She was actually beyond pissed now. "I am so sick of these mindfuck games you seem to like playing." No more of this stupid bullshit, 'Run over here, no wait you have to do this now, AND DON'T FORGET ABOUT THIS PART, you're almost free, EXCEPT NOT', Kat wanted out, and she wanted out now. Well, first she wanted to go get Assassin, obviously, but then goddamn, if she didn't get the hell outta there, Kari was gonna have a few less emotions on her hands.
